News aggregator DrudgeReport.com is currently linking to a YouTube video (left) of a government schoolteacher instructing young students to praise Obama in song. While this is shocking, there is an even bigger story here. Consider this: the video’s “viewsâ€
The current number of views for this video is 674,602
It appears that Drudge gave the video a massive infusion of direct traffic but then this video went viral and people started passing it on to others.
I saw this vide over a month ago but it catching fire now for some reason.
What happens on youtube is his.
When a video receives a low level of traffic, the counter will inch upward with almost a real time count.
But when a video gets a massive wave of views, like many of the ALIPAC videos we lauhche, the counter trips a breaker at around 3-400 views and freezes up and will not update for anything from a few hours to a day or so depending on how big the traffic wave is.
As the views decrease, the updating of the numbers becomes more frequent.
