Mission Viejo, CA Focus Campaign VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mission Viejo effort differs from those of about two dozen local governments because it seeks to control the hiring practices of local businesses.

    Activist Instructions

We need ALIPAC Activists to make calls, send letters, faxes, and e-mails to all members of the Athens, AL Council asking them to consider passing ordinances that will prevent illegal aliens from city employment and rental properties. Also, ask them to consider applying for the federal 287(g) program. You may want to share with them some articles about what other cities are doing and some of the problems and public attitudes (polls) about illegal immigration.

My email to Mission Viejo officials:

I read an article on your decision to pursue an ordinance verifying the legal status of employees in your city. To my understanding this is the first undertaking of its kind. I think it is both admirable and courageous for those of you on the local level who choose to do the right thing for your community and this country.

Towns, such as Hazelton, PA., are enacting illegal immigration relief ordinances to help reverse the extraordinary burden illegal immigration is placing on taxpayers because the federal government has refused to enforce existing immigration law.

Illegal aliens are overwhelming our communities, one by one. There are consequences to their presence. They bring a loss of jobs and wage suppression that greatly effects hard-working Americans. Identity theft, the burden of health care costs, school overcrowding, and crime are also urgent problems that unfortunately require local intervention.

Your community is stepping up to the plate to become a model for others across the nation.

    Thank you,
