the only element requred to reverse the problem

Short Answer
Has your campaign addressed the topic of illegal immigration in speeches,
commercials, ads, or campaign materials? What are those messages? (Please provide
sources or examples)
In speeches and materials: My recommendations:
A very secure border - fence, w/ virtual support and
increased, adequate border patrol; no Guest workers or amnesty - 1-year "worker visas"
only for worker alone, "residence visas" if desired to reside and work
towards citizenship (employment required w/in a couple months & no subsistence
benefits); severe penalties for employers knowingly hiring undocumented, but full
support of government for employers to easily identify and confirm proper
documentation; support of law enforcement for quick checks of legal documentation;
documents (birth certificates, green cards, SSN cards) used must be produced
counterfeit-proof; no benefits (medical, education, etc.) accessible to illegal
immigrants and no immigrant participation in Social Security; employers to
petition INS for quick processing of loyal undocumented workers for return;
English official language and assimilation required; illegal criminals
incarcerated in their countries or at their country's expense (or charged against
foreign
aid) and repeat illegal intrants deported to far interiors; elinimate
automatic citizenship of children born of illegals per 14th Amend.; with
documentation, legal employment would be documented, with fair pay, paid taxes and
provided benefits and Workman's Comp, and fair, level playing field assured for all
employees
What do you feel your opponent's stance on illegal immigration or immigration
reform is or would be?
2 or more National Immigration Control coalitions have rated him,
Democrat Congressman Mike Thompson, absolutely failing on his voting record,
voting against immigration control and for benefits being provided to illegal
aliens as well as a pass on staying here
Have you been endorsed by or received contributions from any other
immigration reform or illegal immigration reduction groups at this time?
not specifically, but wine industry and farm bureau members and
representatives have broadly liked and supported my positions and candidacy
Would you openly accept an endorsement and or contribution from ALIPAC?
Yes, assuredly and proudly. The endorsement would be so greatly
appreciated, and any contribution would help my campaign, in a very close,
competitive race, assure election and would be very well appreciated.
Please use the remainder of this space to share any further opinions on these
issues. (optional)
The above statement on my position and recommendations on illegal
immigration are quite thorough, but I have an extensive, more complete discussion
on same and many other issues on my web site, www.JohnWJonesforCongress.com.
I've been additionally quite gratified to discover that my thoughts on this
critical issue were so closely in line with the printed thoughts of Newt Gingrich
in his most recent book. My desire to address this will be one of my first
priorities once in office.

Candidate Pledge
I, _John W. Jones _____________, hereby pledge to stand with the American
public to have the US Border secured and existing immigration laws enforced with
the intention of reducing the number of illegal aliens entering and remaining
in the US. I understand that the vast majority of Americans want the border
secured, taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens ended, local police helping to
enforce immigration laws, and employers that hire, aid, and abet illegal aliens
to be charged.
Furthermore, I will not support any trade agreement or Executive Branch
treaty that compromises our ability to enforce our existing immigration laws and
threatens US sovereignty.
I will actively oppose any attempt to remove or replace the current laws that
say illegal aliens are to be deported with a guest worker or temporary worker
program that allows illegal aliens to stay or quickly return to the US.
Signed,

Americans for LEGAL Immigration PAC Endorses John W. Jones for Congress
October 25, 2006
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CONTACT:
William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
(866) 329-3999 or WilliamG@alipac.us
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is pleased to offer our endorsement to the John W. Jones for Congress campaign because John W. Jones is willing to enforce our existing laws and support public calls for more enforcement.
"There is actually very little division on the illegal immigration issue," says William Gheen of ALIPAC. "The problem is that our existing immigration laws are not being enforced by the Executive Branch. We know that over 4 out of 5 Americans want employers fined, the borders secured, and illegal aliens deported when detected. We feel John W. Jones will stand up for the American majority on this issue."
The illegal immigration issue is now a part of campaigns in almost every state in America. Voters in many states list the issue as one of their top concerns. While many candidates vow they are against Amnesty and for Border Security, citizens are worried lawmakers will return to DC to grant amnesty disguised as a new Guest Worker or Temporary Worker Program.
"We only endorse candidates like John W. Jones that want the illegal aliens to leave and not stay in America." says William Gheen. "We only support candidates that are opposed to any change or lifting of our existing laws to allow illegal aliens to stay. Illegal aliens will start to leave America in large quantities if we start enforcing our existing laws."
The public has recently become aware that US Border Patrol agents have been ordered to only "Catch and Release" and not to pursue illegal aliens. All fines against employers for hiring illegal aliens had ceased by 2004, and federal laws making it a felony to aid and abet illegal aliens go un-enforced.
The John W. Jones campaign has made it clear they will oppose any Guest Worker amnesty and will go to Washington DC with the message to the Executive Branch "Secure our border and enforce our existing immigration laws now!"
Americans for Legal Immigration is a one of the largest national organizations fighting illegal immigration. ALIPAC's goal is to help voters cut through the campaign rhetoric to find out which candidates are true to the American public on this issue. ALIPAC is a multi-ethnic organization that enjoys the support of many LEGAL immigrants. Supporters are organized in all 50 states. For more information, please visit www.alipac.us
