    Candidate Background Information

Top Campaign Issues: Restoration of America to the values upon which we were founded. Illegal Immigration (as we are in Texas, we know all too well the results of open borders). We are working hard to present Gene Green’s voting record in relation to Family Values, Taxes, and his total lack of respect for American’s shown by his atrocious voting record in relation to Border Security and Illegal Entry into the US

Education, Awards & Honors: Graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1974. I took ministry courses through Berean School of the Bible.

    District Information

Please give a brief description of your district: Though CD 29 has traditionally been a Democrat District, there has been a move to the Republican side over the past 4 years. The District is about 60% Hispanic (not 60% registered voters). In the last year, there have been about 6,000 new primarily Republican homes built in the district. The median income is about 13K. This district contains about 20% of the nation’s Petroleum-Chemical Industry.

Percentage of Democrat, Republican, and Unaffiliated Voters:

In Tx, we have access to a product called Voter Vault which bases it’s numbers on the primaries. We do not register based on party in Texas. The following is a breakdown based solely on the votes cast in past primaries.

    Dem – 12.4%
    Rep – 4.8%
    Independent - .2%
    Uncommitted – 82.6%

Based on the last Presidential Race the results would be
    Dem – 55.7%
    Rep – 44.3%

    Short Answer

Has your campaign addressed the topic of illegal immigration in speeches, commercials, ads, or campaign materials? What are those messages? (Please provide sources or examples)

Yes we have. I have spoken at several US Border Watch rallies, in several Candidate Forums, in 2 TV ads, and at every opportunity provided.

My message is fairly simple. This is the USA and we have laws that must be enforced. This is NOT a Mexico or Mexican issue. It is about one thing, America, our security and sovereignty.

We must control every entry point into our nation and only after proving that we can do this, should we even discuss step 2. All illegals should leave the country on their own and apply for legal status, from their home country. Once picked up and deported, you are not eligible for legal status.

What do you feel your opponent's stance on illegal immigration or immigration reform is or would be?
Gene Green’s voting record speaks volumes. He continuously votes against border security and in favor of illegals that are in our country. He further has stated that the Constitution was not written for US Citizens, but for everyone that is within the borders of the US. He is rated 100% by La Raza.

Mr. Green recently agreed with LULAC stating that the US Constitution was not written for citizens of the US, but for anyone in the US. It is his belief that even illegals should be able to vote (Constitutional Right) and proved this belief when he recently voted against the Voter ID Act.

Gene Green’s lifetime grade from www.betterimmigration.com is D-.

Have you been endorsed by or received contributions from any other immigration reform or illegal immigration reduction groups at this time?

    No

Would you openly accept an endorsement and or contribution from ALIPAC?

    Absolutely

Please use the remainder of this space to share any further opinions on these issues. (optional)

The illegal aliens in our country are costing the US Citizens untold millions each year. Of greatest concern to me right now is the extreme negative impact that this issue has on our education system. In Texas, we are closing schools down because they can not meet the minimum testing requirements. The schools that are affected are largely “bi-lingual” and the students can not speak English. Because of the lack of language skills, they can not compete and all of the students (citizens) lose out.

We must right the wrongs in America and restore our nation for the sake of our children and for that matter the rest of the world.

    Candidate Pledge

I, Eric Story, hereby pledge to stand with the American public to have the US Border secured and existing immigration laws enforced with the intention of reducing the number of illegal aliens entering and remaining in the US. I understand that the vast majority of Americans want the border secured, taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens ended, local police helping to enforce immigration laws, and employers that hire, aid, and abet illegal aliens to be charged.

Furthermore, I will not support any trade agreement or Executive Branch treaty that compromises our ability to enforce our existing immigration laws and threatens US sovereignty.

I will actively oppose any attempt to remove or replace the current laws that say illegal aliens are to be deported with a guest worker or temporary worker program that allows illegal aliens to stay or quickly return to the US.

    Signed,

    Eric Story
