Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has endorsed Congressman Bill Sali due to his efforts to oppose any form of Amnesty while supporting more immigration enforcement and border security.

"The Democratic leadership in Washington has announced they plan to try and pass an Amnesty bill in 2009 that would turn over ten million illegal aliens into voters," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "We need Congressman Bill Sali in Washington because we know he will oppose any form of disquised amnesty and stand up for more border security and immigration enforcement."

American voters rank controlling and reversing illegal immigration as a top issue and a strong majority favors enforcement instead of Amnesty. Congressman Sali's efforts in Washington are in line with the 80% of Americans that want more immigration enforcement.

"Our immigration system is not broken," said William Gheen. "Our existing immigration laws go unenforced or under enforced due to powerful special interests that have more say in Washington than the American public. Congressman Sali is one of the good guys and has proven he is willing to stand up for American citizens on the issue of illegal immigration."

Congressman Sali has also received a strong grade of 'A-' from
