Thread: Public Input about Campaigns and Elections for Congress

I'm going to ignore Numbers USA's grades from now on. First of all, they include all immigration, legal and illegal, which I suppose is fine, but it's not what I'm interested in (nor for 90% of the people visiting their site.) They gave "C's" to a bunch of Republicans who voted Yes on cloture last year, and "C's" for Democrats who voted No. They gave Harkin IA and Bingaman NM and Brown OH, "D's" It's getting to be freaking impossible to sort through the garbage to get useful information. Good news for ALIPAC - they just lost another competitor for my anti-amnesty dollars!

What more do you want? Bob Conley supported Ron Paul in the primaries, and he's been endorsed by Chuck Baldwin.

Sandy Treadwell is running against freshman Dem Gillibrand in New York 20th District, Gillibrand cosponsored the Save Act but did not sign the discharge petition. This race is one of the 10 most expensive races in the country. Here's his position on illegal immigration:

Tom Manion is running against freshman Dem Patrick Murphy in Pennsylvania District 8. Pat Murphy cosponsored Save Act but did not sign discharge petition. Here's Manion's position on immigration - he seems a bit soft:

Kirk Schuring is running for an open seat in Ohio District 16, a very close race. He says he will oppose any amnesty:

Nancy Boyda is running for reelection in Kansas District 2 in a close race. She appears to be strong on the issue:

I didn't realize Nancy Boyda is a Dem, but she cosponsored the Save Act and signed the discharge petition, and Numbers USA gives her an "A", for what that's worth, and I don't think it's worth much, as I posted earlier.

The timing for your success has been fate of a sort. When Americans will be needing more of the public services in this critical economy, perhaps it will be used for the people who have paid into our tax base for all of their working lives.
