District Information

Please give a brief description of your district: 12-counties, from the
river/border of the Rio Grande Valley up to Yoakum and Cuero in De Witt
County (just West of Victoria). Very rich in agriculture, oil, natural
gas, farming and livestock throughout much of the district. Clean and
available water has been a concern in some parts of this district.

The Rio Grande Valley is a large source of very good citrus and produce
for the nation, and South Padre Island (just to the East of this
district) is a very fine place to visit for good beach fun and fishing
or boating.

Lake Mathis (Lake Corpus Christi) has many conservative retired people
enjoying life on a sizable lake that offers good fishing and boating fun.

TXCD-15 is the 7th poorest district in the entire United States, and
the incumbent seems content playing towards these people, while keeping
them down and continuously complaining about the same things over and over.

The violence along the border on the other side has spilled over in
numerous cases of what I call Crossover Violence, even if it does not
meet the carefully crafted definition that the dep't. of homeland
security came up with. We on the border see and hear what's happening,
and the result is that more and more people on this side of the border
are changing from the opinion of "no wall" to secure our borders through
whatever means necessary and keep us safe from the violence on the other side!

The northern parts of this district have clamored for Border Security
for years (at least since 2006, the first time I ran).

The people of Texas' Congressional District 15 are mostly Conservatives
(Pro-Life, Pro-Marriage, 1-man + 1-woman, Pro-2nd Amendment, and Fiscal Conservatives) even if they vote mostly democrat (on paper, it's a 54%-democrat district).

We have new and honest people running elections in two of the counties
that had been notorious for shennanigans: Jim Wells and Hidalgo Counties.

I'm excited and think the political wind has shifted and is continuing
to make what I always have felt is that "with God, all things are
possible!".

Percentage of Democrat, Republican, and Unaffiliated Voters: Normally,
this district is a 54%-democrat district

PLEDGE

If elected or re-elected to the US Congress, I will oppose any form of Amnesty or path to citizenship for illegal aliens, including Comprehensive Immigration Reform which would turn millions of illegal immigrants into voters thus destroying future borders of America. I will use the full power of my office, including impeachment if necessary, to insure the Executive Branch secures America's border immediately and begins to adequately enforce the existing immigration and border laws of the United States, which were enacted by Congress at the behest of America's citizenry. I understand that the failure of the Executive Branch to secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws is depriving all Americans of a Republican form of government and depriving our states of protection from invasion as mandated by the US Constitution. I intend to use the power of Congress to immediately remedy this problem that is costing many Americans their jobs, wages, taxpayer resources, property, security, and sometimes their very lives.

So help me God,

*Eddie Zamora, 14 September, 2010*
