"Off with his head!" I thought that was the Red Queen, not Pres. Bush. Perhaps the possibility of Mr. Obama invoking such a privilege has intimidated the governing authorities from functioning as checks and balances.

I realize that many of us have sent letters of support to one or more U.S. Attorneys about quo warranto actions, but they may turn out to be another effort for justice that will fall on deaf ears. I have had my doubts about Patrick Fitzgerald since the Valerie Plame debacle, and now we see this unsettling article in NewsWithViews.

You should have received the return receipts within a week. Nothing yet here from U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, but I mailed 11 days after you. Procrastination is a tough habit to break.
Don't assume the worst based upon OKC and TWA800. Mr. Fitzgerald is just doing his job and obeying orders. We can only assume that if Mr. Fitzgerald took up our complaint publicly, AG Holder would immediately order him off the case. Yet, he obviously has a great deal of independence in order to attack corruption in government.
Mr. Obama probably considers him a most dangerous opponent. He may deem it better to have Mr. Fitzgerald working for him than working against him.
