I haven't heard about your so-called "border wall." However, I have heard about border fencing and vehicle barriers. Furthermore, I haven't heard anyone say fencing was the solution! Although I do believe a combination of double-layered fencing (high speed road between layers), stadium lights, sensors, cameras, etc. is a necessary part of the equation. Good quality fencing can help, just ask the Israelis.


Silly me, I thought it was understood by those paying attention that there is no single "solution" to our illegal alien problem.

You are absolutely correct in everything you posted; as a resident of Cameron County, it is obvious to us locals America's first line of defense, the local judiciary and local law enforcement, often sell America out, and collaborate with the cartels to protect the illegal gambling, and or illegal drug and human trafficers--same people, rich and powerful border businessmen.

When the judges, and or law enforcement, are the legal business and or property owners, through which the border crimes are being conducted, it is difficult for honest law enforcement officers to do their jobs--or even move higher up to more powerful positions of authority--the honest cops are neutralized and the flood gates are opened for illegals and drug trafficing;

Who do you think owns many of the businesses in resort places like South Padre Island and Port Isabel?

Who do you think does the work cleaning and cooking in many of the hotels and restraunts? I know many of the above mentioned people--try applying for a blue collar job in Precint One--unless you speak fluent Spanish and are willing to take BELOW minimum wage, you will not get hired because you cannot compete with the thousands of illegals hired by the resort owners;

Both National Republican and Democrat Party career politicians go to these resorts; do you think they have ever noticed almost all of the service industry speaks NO ENGLISH?

The richest Americans in the Midwest vacation here and their college kids come here in droves during Spring Break; How can these people not notice something is terribly wrong?

I went to Bank of America in Brownsville, Texas (in the United States) to wire money for a business payment, the first teller could not help me--SHE DID NOT SPEAK ANY ENGLISH.

PORTÂ*ISABELÂ*— Investigators from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Cameron County Sheriff’s Department were looking for the passengers of a white SUV holding at leastÂ*1,200Â*poundsÂ*of marijuana, an ICE spokeswoman said.

The SUV was found outside a laundry mat near the intersection of Highway 100 and Island Avenue some time Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, ICE spokeswoman Nina Pruneda said.

Investigators found theÂ*drugsÂ*inside the vehicle, but no passengers, Pruneda said.

I have been to Cameron County, Texas many times. the border wall is a joke. There are so many huge holes in the wall anyone who wants can just walk in our out of this country with no effort.

It is honestly a shame what has happened to this area. My wife and I use to drive to south Padre Island 2-3 times a year. It has literally been taken over by illegals. As a resort, the hotels and restaurants have gone up on prices while the service is gone down the tubes. The beaches have become infested as well. We now avoid going there.
