    VIDEO from today's event in Burbank, CA

    It was a good protest/rally held in Burbank this afternoon!

    Things of note (in no particular order of importance):

    - I have been a long time grassroots type regarding illegal immigration protest in SoCal, but almost everybody I met today was a stranger. Lots of new faces and activists!

    - Responses from passersby (who had something to say or gesture) ran about 60/40 (60% supportive, 40% derisive). VERY interestingly, ALL African-Americans who voiced opinions as they drove by supported us w/ the exception of one driver I can recall (he provided the middle finger salute from his RX-7).

    - The location chosen was a good one. We faced traffic on the road in front of us, not the freeway below. There was plenty of traffic. We had a huge audience.
