“What you get a sense of is an attorney general who saw himself as enabler of the administration as opposed to somebody who was actually trying to look out for the American people’s interests. For that reason, I think it’s time for him to step down and for another attorney general — who can exercise some independence — to be put for the remainder of this president’s term.”

Despite the controversy surrounding Fast and Furious, Obama said on Thursday that he has “completely confidence” in Holder.

Fast and Furious back in headlines as Univision reportedly finds more victims

Spanish-language television network Univision plans to air a television special that it said reveals more violence than previously known, as well as the stories of how many more Operation Fast and Furious victims were killed, the network announced in a Friday release.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Records show a gun smuggling operation run by former town officials in Columbus, N.M., had a direct link to targets of the bungled "Fast and Furious" operation run by federal officials in Arizona.
