"Elektable" is a short fictional film about Ron Paul and the amazing political revolution he has inspired. The movie explores truth in the media and how it secretly holds a deep affection for Dr. Paul.
On a more serious note, Ron Paul still has a chance to win the GOP nomination. This will only happen if a majority of Americans realize that he is the true champion of the people. No amount of money and blatant blackouts can deny Dr. Paul the nomination if enough people get behind him and his message.
The film was written and directed by Jeremy Richter. All scenes were shot in Chicago over 4 days using the Red One MX and Epic Cameras.

Ireland dumps e-voting machines that America still uses

You know it puzzles me, If I go to the store and buy a loaf of bread, it become my property, yet often I see a person stop me at the exit of the store and demand I prove that its my loaf of bread.
Now food is important and While I do not agree I understand so I keep my receipt in hand.
When I go to vote. I go to a machine and enter the data I choose to select those who would proclaim to represent the majority of the people.
I don’t get a receipt and no one ever demands that I prove who I vote for.
So I guess that its more important to prove ownership of a loaf of bread than its important to prove that some one was really elected by a majority of the individuals that comprise the area they would claim to represent.
Elections are a joke as are the polls, msm, the left right party game.

Why the GOP Will Wish It Could Lead with Ron Paul After This ObamaCare Ruling
Brian Doherty | June 28, 2012
As readers of Reason have been reminded farand near, Mitt Romney, no matter how tough he's talking now, has some credibility issues when it comes to attacking ObamaCare as a potential president.
Not that everyone shouldn't know this by now, but Peter Suderman summed it up back in May 2011:
ObamaCare, which includes a health insurance mandate, is a near carbon copy of RomneyCare: a hefty Medicaid expansion coupled to equally large middle-class insurance subsidies, new regulations that all but turn health insurance into a public utility, and an individual mandate to buy a private insurance plan. Indeed, the same Obama administration that Romney accused of being fundamentally anti-American has on multiple occasions explicitly cited the plan that Romney signed into law as the direct model for their plan.Suderman again, from earlier this month:
http://reason.com/assets/mc/_externa...5b0b3b336d.jpg
Romney’s only real contrast between his plan and the president’s plan boiled down to a single, simple distinction: Obama’s overhaul was a federal overhaul; Romney’s was state-based. Romney would have us believe that the same system of mandates and regulations that constitutes an unconscionable imposition on individual liberty at the federal level is somehow a natural and great part of the American way of life at the state level.
The GOP candidate's promises to do away with the president’s health law have never been terribly convincing: His plan to offer states waivers to avoid the law probably won’t work. His promises to push for repeal have always come across as hollow when paired with his defense of his own law.Indeed, though even the Tea Party, supposedly so energized by ObamaCare hate, seems willing to sigh and take Romney.
That’s even more true now. Not only did Romney accept the mandate in Massachusetts, he forcefully defended it while his staff insisted on its inclusion. And despite widespread distrust of Romney’s commitment to unwinding the federal health care overhaul, Romney decided to appoint as a senior adviser someone who profits from ObamaCare and professionally urges conservative legislators to fall in line with one its key directives despite contrary advice from every major policy shop that opposes the health law.
Does this sound like someone whose commitment to opposing ObamaCare and its mandate is in any way reliable? It’s almost as if Romney doesn’t really find ObamaCare or its underlying structure particularly objectionable, and is merely pretending to vehemently oppose the law because he believes that’s what the voters his campaign is targeting want to hear.
But even if we believed Romney will for political expedience barrel through with anti-ObamaCare Tea Party talking points for political gain whether or not he is credible or really believes it, he can't really "repeal it in day one" without Congress's going along, nor wouldhis "state waiver" plan likely do what he claims it will.
A House repeal vote is scheduled for July 9. Good luck, congressional Republicans. Timothy Carney argues, interestingly, that given the "tax" nature of the decision, reducing that "tax" to zero counts as budget reconciliation and thus can't be filibustered, thus requiring only 51 Senate votes to essentially repeal that part in the Senate. And good luck withthat, Senate Republicans.
The fate of ObamaCare, as some bemoan and some cheer, a matter for the politicians now. While some darkly suspect Roberts was pressured by Obama forces to give in, others suspect he was in fact knowingly helping Romney forces to allegedly help ensure enough angry energized Republican voters to smash Obama in November. Perhaps Obama the health care martyr would be a better energizer of his base, while the GOP can count on its forces rising to beat Obama the health care dictator.
Romney certainly can presume most anti-ObamaCare potential voters (there are still lots of them) probably thinking they have nowhere else to go. But who would have been a more effective anti-ObamaCare standardbearer? Ron Paul, of course.
Paul's comments on the decision:
"I strongly disagree with today’s decision by the Supreme Court, but I am not surprised. The Court has a dismal record when it comes to protecting liberty against unconstitutional excesses by Congress. And Paul talking up the problems with ObamaCare earlier this week:
"Today we should remember that virtually everything government does is a 'mandate.' The issue is not whether Congress can compel commerce by forcing you to buy insurance, or simply compel you to pay a tax if you don’t. The issue is that this compulsion implies the use of government force against those who refuse. The fundamental hallmark of a free society should be the rejection of force. In a free society, therefore, individuals could opt out of “Obamacare” without paying a government tribute.
"Those of us in Congress who believe in individual liberty must work tirelessly to repeal this national health care law and reduce federal involvement in healthcare generally. Obamacare can only increase third party interference in the doctor-patient relationship, increase costs, and reduce the quality of care. Only free market medicine can restore the critical independence of doctors, reduce costs through real competition and price sensitivity, and eliminate enormous paperwork burdens....
supporters of Obamacare are willfully ignorant of basic economics. The fundamental problem with health care costs in America is that the doctor-patient relationship has been profoundly altered by third party interference. Third parties, either government agencies themselves or nominally private insurance companies virtually forced upon us by government policies, have not only destroyed doctor-patient confidentiality. They also inescapably drive up costs because basic market disciplines —supply and demand, price sensitivity, and profit signals — are destroyed … Obamacare, via its insurance mandate, is more of the same misdiagnosis.”Ron Paul, as above, has demonstrated understanding of why health care costs are so damn high (hint: RomneyCare has not actually contained costs), and it's because of the absurd and complicated system of third party payments and supply reductions imposed by government mandate.
Paul also knew that the Court would validate the mandate, back in March, and wrote in the sort of rhetorical move that should appeal to leftists a bit worried about government forcing us to buy a product from huge powerful corporations, in his book Liberty Defined, "A better description of...the past forty to fifty years is the takeover of medical care by the corporations. We now have a form of corporatism veering toward fascism....Regardless of party, corporate special interests are protected....Corporations, unions, and government stand between patients and their doctors regardless of motivation. The quality and cost of medical care can never be improved by forcing on the American people greater debt-financed involvement in medical care."
Paul argues against not only the expansion of government involvement in medicine inherent in ObamaCare but also the past government incursions on the market for making both insurance and health care costs rise, thus making him the only consistent voice for the principles of government involvement in health care reined in not only by a more consistent interpretation of proper congressional power, but economic sense as well.
http://reason.com/assets/mc/_externa...he-man-a-8.jpg
Thus, while Paul is himself more federalist than many libertarians like, he doesn't accept Romney's excuse that mandating insurance purchase in Massachusetts was the right thing to do whereas doing it federally is not. Such mandates would never be the right thing to do, and fall under no proper understanding of what government is even for.
Romney may be able to get away with the two party game of blaming the latest extension of crappy governing principles on the other guy, but neither he nor any other prominent Republican seem to actually understand why our health care system was such a mess that ObamaCare could even pass--or are prepared to explain the moral, legal, constitutional, and economic reasons why nearly all government interference in health care is a bad idea. Only Ron Paul could do that.
With the Court granting Congress potentially limitless power to do anything under the taxing power, this decision reminds us that we need a sea change not just in the Nine Supremes. (It is worth noting that there is a reasonable libertarian-friendly interpretation of today's decision, whichsome cheer and some jeer, that in rejecting the Commerce Clause arguments Roberts has indeed stabbed post-New Deal pro-state jurisprudence in the heart even if the blood didn't stain the mandate)
The change, as Ron Paul always recognized, needs to be in the political philosophy and action of the people as a whole. And Paul was the only GOP candidate who consistently and fully understands and can be relied to act on the principled reasons why ObamaCare was and is wrong.
Alas, the Tea Party sold out that One True Voice against ObamaCare and the reasons we got ObamaCare, and without some version of his ideas animating national politics, ObamaCare may eventually be killed, but the forces that have led to massive and growing health care expenses will remain. That will merely trigger the next feckless state-run solution to a problem that would be far better served by less government involvement, not more.

Ron Paul 2012
My response to this horrible story...
"Not one mention of the Godfather of the Tea Party? The one true conservative elected to office as a Tea Party Republican 12 times? The one candidate that has served this country in war and who wants to return this country to fiscal sanity. The one candidate that pulls votes from all three demographics. The only candidate who worked in the medical field for over 40 years. I feel sorry for Americans. Ignorant people are a politicians warm blanket. Uneducated, dumbed down public. No ambition or drive and believe whatever the black box in their living room tells them. Tea Party? We handed them the most qualified person to run for POTUS in the last 100 years and what do they do? They do what the are told to do.. dismiss him. Sheep to the information trough. Im so tired of telling people to wake up. There is not a glass of water cold enough. The collapse of this nation is the only thing loud enough to bring them to consciousness. I hope Romney wins so America might finally realize nobody is really on their side. Wishful thinking...

The most liberal justices of the postwar era were actually named by Republican presidents

Current Events
Another reason why the republican party can go to hell:
"The Supreme Court was poised to deliver conservatives a major victory by overturning a hated liberal policy with little basis in the Constitution. A majority of the justices had been appointed by Republican presidents. Some of them were so conservative that Senate Democrats had attempted to prevent their confirmation.
Yet when the much anticipated ruling was finally handed down, the liberal policy was upheld with fairly minor caveats. A Republican-appointed justice unexpectedly voted with the liberal bloc. Instead of a victory, conservatives feared they had endured a permanent defeat on an important issue, and in an election year to boot.
While this certainly describes the past day’s events, it was also true 20 years ago. When the Senate narrowly confirmed Clarence Thomas, liberals feared he would be the deciding vote against Roe v. Wade.
Well, Thomas did rule that Roe was wrongly decided at his first opportunity. But in 1992’s Planned Parenthood v. Casey, a 5-4 majority affirmed the core holding of the infamous abortion decision.
Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee, saved Roe with a pivotal flip-flop and ended up writing an opinion as filled with liberal clichés as any amicus brief filed by a pointy-headed lefty law professor. Sandra Day O’Connor, also a Reagan pick, was another of three Republicans to join the plurality opinion. Harry Blackmun, a Nixon appointee, gave us Roe in the first place. Earl Warren, William Brennan, John Paul Stevens, David Souter—some of THE MOST LIBERAL JUSTICES OF THE POSTWAR ERA WERE ACTUALLY NAMED BY REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS."

The Bizarre Case of Santa Cruz’s Precinct 51100: Rigging or Coincidence?

Daily Paul Liberty Forum
While in Ireland I had an interesting conversation with one of the area’s top private businessmen. I asked him if the country still uses those e-voting machines they bought a few years ago. He said, “No way, we threw them out. We’ll never use them again. They were unreliable. We do everything on paper.” Then, he went into a dissertation about how money buys the elections in America: he couldn’t understand how the people could tolerate it.
He likes Ron Paul. Then, he looked at me, saying, “If you keep letting them use those machines, they’ll keep cheating you.”
Only through this Ron Paul revolution has there been even the slightest challenge against secretive voting. It makes no sense that we could have done this poorly, that is in the public vote.
My Irish friend kept telling me, “Unless you’ve got paper, they’ll cheat you.” No truer words could be said.
In many instances when Ron Paul votes were counted under careful watch, he won. When there is no watching, he loses extensively. When there is watching, including exit polling, he often wins.
In New Hampshire the votes in some 70 precincts were carefully watched by the organization watchthevote2012. Paul won those 70 precincts.
In Nevada’s so-called Adelson Caucus, Clark County, where the votes were counted in full public forum—fully televised on CNN--Ron Paul handily won over Romney, live on TV, 153 votes to 49.
Regarding Maine, freedom fighter Matt McDonald caught the crooks in the act; and when the GOP realized he had the goods on them, the results were reinstated. Otherwise, his precinct would have shown a Paul loss instead of a win.
In Milwaukee this author watched the vote at three precincts for up to 8 hours. In these combined precincts Dr. Paul won the vote in a relatively tight race.
In Santa Cruz for 3 hours activists carefully polled precinct 51100, along with two other ‘sister’ precincts, from 5:00 p.m. to closing. Every exiting voter was polled. The count: 16 votes for Ron Paul and 2 votes for Mitt Romney. A landslide seemed likely, although a five-hour poll would have been more telling.
When the unofficial results were posted, the activists got a surprise: Romney was listed as the winner with 57 votes versus 54 for Paul (this includes absentees). However, in 51100 in live votes Paul actually won, 18 to 16: a rare, almost unheard of official win in this state.
The final canvass still boasted a Romney win, but not by much: 78 votes for Romney versus 74 for Dr. Paul, or 51% for Romney over 54% for Paul.
In Nevada only the highly publicized and publically counted Clark caucus showed a Paul landslide. In contrast, in virtually all secretly counted (and re-counted) caucuses, Paul lost.
Regarding the Milwaukee results, again, only the publically counted precincts showed wins and second places (large-size). All other City of Milwaukee precincts showed dismal results.
In Santa Cruz, yet again, only the exit-polled precinct 51100 showed a near win; all others had Paul losing massively, many with a percentages compared to Romney of 25% and less.
UPDATE on HAWAII: and now see this witnessing from WhiteRabbit, lead grassroots coordinator of the Big Island: "I can say with certainty that the votes counted at each Precinct on the night of March 13 on the Big Island of Hawaii – HD1 through HD7 - are accurate, because I personally assigned an Observer to all 10 locations. I had also embedded trusted Ron Paul supporters as GOP Poll Workers. The Observers each reported back to me with the count that they had witnessed. I verified that these matched the GOP spreadsheet and they are in fact correct. There is no dispute at the local level on this particular island as far as regular ballots go."
And do you know what? We WON the Big Island.
Is it all coincidence? No one can say. Yet, when combined with voter suppression, ballot stuffing, secret counting, and physical violence—all directed at Ron Paul voters--suspicions should run high.
We win in the public eye. We lose in secret.
We’ve fought too long and hard for a just system. Now is NOT the time to give up.
Why are we allowing this? This is brutal. No more. From now on every vote must be counted: in public. There must be independent vote watchers from every campaign directly on-site.
In 2004 the Irish people threw out their machines. Now, as was just announced in the Independent, these machines are being ground up for scrap. The Irish taxpayers have won, defeating—and destroying—these mechanisms of evil.
We must do the same. No more secret votes. That’s it. Time to show some Irish-style tenacity: turn the machines into (metallic) dust.

Mitt Romney's 13 Globalist 'Working Groups' Exposed
http://images.sodahead.com/profiles/...8244105828.png image source
Brandon Turbeville
A few weeks ago, I wrote an article entitled “Romney’s Foreign Policy Advisers Exposed as Globalists” where I compiled a list of the 22 individuals selected by Mitt Romney to serve as his foreign policy advising team back in October 2011.
Along with the names of each of these individuals, I included a list of globalist, neo-con, or otherwise nefarious organizations or government offices that they belong to or have belonged to in the past.
Besides announcing a foreign policy advising team, Romney also announced 13 (interesting number) working groups dedicated to regional and issue-specific policies. It is not surprising that the individuals, although somewhat less important in terms of their pedigree, are themselves diehard globalists.
As I wrote in my last article dealing with this subject:
Considering Romney’s attendance at the 2012 Bilderberg meeting and the apparent tendency of the elite in leaning to Romney as the next president, it is imperative that those who are aware of the forces truly guiding the United States and the rest of the world be prepared to shift gears, even if it is only temporary, and begin to expose Mitt Romney as the criminal globalist that he is.Still, we must guard against being played like a tennis ball and rushing back into the arms of “Bush on steroids” Barack Obama. Unless we become significantly more streetwise than the general public has been in the past, the condition of the world will only continue to degenerate with every election, regardless of the results.
Therefore, I have compiled a similar listing of Mitt Romney’s 13 Working Groups, the individuals that make them up, and the organizations that they are or have been a part of. Keep in mind, the list is by no means comprehensive.

Ron Paul: Problem With Healthcare is Too Much Government
Ron Paul’s op-ed explaining what the root problems of America’s healthcare crisis actually are, via The Advertiser.com (New Orleans):
Today, the Supreme Court is expected to issue its long-awaited decision regarding the constitutionality of the “Obamacare” law. I recently discussed absurd legal arguments by Obamacare advocates that Congress can compel the purchase of health insurance, and the dismal record of federal courts applying so-called “judicial review” in protecting liberty. It is obvious that Obamacare’s legal apologists either are wholly ignorant of constitutional principles, or wholly lawless in their blatant disregard for those principles.
Likewise, supporters of Obamacare are willfully ignorant of basic economics. The fundamental problem with health care costs in America is that the doctor-patient relationship has been profoundly altered by third-party interference. Third parties, either government agencies themselves or nominally private insurance companies virtually forced upon us by government policies, have not only destroyed doctor-patient confidentiality. They also inescapably drive up costs because basic market disciplines — supply and demand, price sensitivity, and profit signals — are destroyed.
Obamacare, via its insurance mandate, is more of the same misdiagnosis.
Gabriel Vidal, chief operating officer of a U.S. hospital system, sees this problem squarely in his daily work. As he explains, Obamacare will only make matters worse because it fails to recognize that “costs are out of control because they do not reflect prices created by the voluntary exchange between patients and providers”» like every well-functioning industry.”
Instead, “health costs reflect the distortions that government regulators have introduced through reimbursement mechanisms created by command-and-control bureaucracies at federal and state levels,” he continues. “But it is theoretically and practically impossible for a bureaucrat — no matter how accurate the cost data, how well-intentioned and how sophisticated his computer program — to come up with the correct and just price. The (doctor-patient) relationship” has been corrupted by the intrusion of government and its intermediaries (HMOs, for example) to such an extent that we can no longer speak of a relationship that can produce meaningful pricing information…”
Absent such pricing information, our system increasingly resembles socialist systems with centralized price setting, shortages, rationing, apathy, and declining quality of care…
The problem is acute and worsening. Obamacare’s third party insurance mandate is only the first step toward what the political left really wants: a single payer government healthcare system.
Meanwhile, conservatives seem resigned to a third party insurance system and therefore fail to present a viable alternative to the American people. They continue to speak in terms of saving the health care “system,” when in fact what America needs is a rejection of all government systems in favor of free market mechanisms…

Anyone who has watched even a single 2012 Republican Primary debate should be aware by now that there is has been an unshakeable commitment by virtually every candidate to the colonial “state” of Israel.
Although Ron Paul’s position on Israel is somewhat more tempered than that of his Republican counterparts, not one of the other candidates is capable of even remotely criticizing Israel or its acts of aggression and oppression throughout the region.
The same situation exists for the Democrats as their incumbent candidate, Barack Obama, has already proven himself to be one of the most ardent and willing supporters of whatever decision is made by the Israeli government and the hidden hand behind it.
Yet it is the Republican field, partly because of the primary races and partly because of the demographic makeup of its supporters, that inspires such an “I support Israel more than you do,” contest at every debate.
Indeed, it has been hard to tell which candidate (when all were still in the race) was the loudest supporter of Israel at any given time. However, during the course of the circus known as American political debates, when platform policies did not seem convincing enough to some members of the audience, there were at least two candidates who began to play the “established friendship” card as a method to demonstrate their already-developed sense of Israeli-American relations.
One of these instances was at a Republican debate on December 12, 2011 where Newt Gingrich, in a testy exchange with Mitt Romney after his claim that the Palestinians were an “invented people,” stated that he had known Benjamin Netanyahu since 1984. Romney countered that statement with the fact that he also knew Netanyahu, after having worked together many years ago at a “consulting firm.”
Romney actually went much further than Gingrich and stated that, before he made any comments about the Israeli/Palestinian situation, he would contact his friend “Bibi” and essentially ask Netanyahu for permission to make his statement. “Before I made a statement of that nature [Gingrich’s “invented people” comment],” Romney said, “I’d get on the phone to my friend Bibi Netanyahu and say ‘Would it help if I say this?
What would you like me to do?’” As many commentators have pointed out, Romney’s position is nothing more than the outsourcing of American foreign policy to Israel.
Nevertheless, both of these statements were made as a matter of fact. Yet, most likely due to the context in which the comments were made, as well as the nature of the mainstream media, for several months there was no attempt to uncover just how close these three individuals actually are.
Gingrich holds connections to Netanyahu through relatively obvious means as both were political leaders in their respective countries at the same time. Not only that, but Gingrich and Netanyahu share a common fundraiser, Sheldon Adelson, who is often considered one of the richest men in the world by mainstream sources.
Mitt Romney’s connection goes back a bit further, however, and the friendship between the two men seems to be much more personal. In fact, the relationship is so “coincidental” that one might be justified in wondering whether or not this friendship actually began as some kind of intelligence/shadow government operation where both men were being groomed for their respective posts as they exist currently and may develop in the future. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time a President has been groomed by the intelligence community for his future position. Of course, at this point, the evidence is only circumstantial. Still, considering what we know about the operations of the Shadow Government, it would be wise to remain aware of these connections.
With that in mind, it is reported by Michael Barbaro of the New York Times that Romney and Netanyahu first met in 1976 after both men had been hired as “corporate advisers” to Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In one of the “coincidences” revealed by the report, it is noted that both men attended business school in Boston with Romney attending Harvard and Netanyahu attending MIT, two institutions that have clear links and history with intelligence agencies, elitist think tanks, secret societies, and other related affairs.
Upon arriving at BCG, the two men had already developed quite a reputation for themselves, as Romney was the son of a Michigan Governor and former Presidential candidate; and Netanyahu had recently completed a tenure with the elite special forces unit of the Israeli military.
Both Romney and Netanyahu have publicly recalled the days when they were coworkers at BCG. As Barbaro writes:
Mr. Romney, never known for his lack of self-confidence, still recalls the sense of envy he felt watching Mr. Netanyahu effortlessly hold court during the firm’s Monday morning meetings, when consultants presented their work and fielded questions from their colleagues. The sessions were renowned for their sometimes grueling interrogations.‘He was a strong personality with a distinct point of view,’ Mr. Romney said. ‘I aspired to the same kind of perspective.’
Quoting Netanyahu in reference to the same period, the article reads, “’His star, the prime minister said of Mr. Romney’s time at Boston Consulting, ‘had already risen.’”
Both men spent two years at BCG with Romney’s tenure lasting from 1975-1977 and Netanyahu’s affiliation with the company running from 1976-1978. While still attached to BCG, Netanyahu returned to Israel to create an “anti-terrorism foundation," while Romney famously switched companies to notorious asset stripper Bain & Company where he helped destroy the businesses and lives of thousands of people.
In yet another interesting “coincidence,” during his time at Bain, Romney worked closely with Netanyahu’s second wife, Fleur Cates. Although Bibi and Fleur later divorced, the New York Times reports that she and Romney are still in contact with one another.
The connections between Romney and Netanyahu have persisted, evolving into what Barbaro describes in his article as a “network of friends.” Network is an definitely an interesting term in this context and it may be more accurate than Barbaro intended it to be.
Nevertheless, after Romney’s election as the Governor of Massachusetts, Netanyahu paid him a visit where the two men allegedly discussed various aspects of government life, specifically the hallmarks of union-busting, asset stripping, and privatization, policies both men have such a fondness for.
A few years later, Romney himself traveled to Israel where the two men met in the Old City in Jerusalem and allegedly discussed economics. At this discussion, Netanyahu told Romney that he was engaging in a campaign to discourage American pension funds from investing in companies connected to Iran. At this statement, Romney “immediately saw the wisdom of his action” and organized meetings between Netanyahu and American government officials.
Romney then embarked on his own campaign of politically motivated investment strategies by sending out letters to legislators suggesting they sell off all assets of corporations doing business with Iran held by any pension funds under their control.
Unfortunately, America’s irrational support of Israel will not change regardless of who is elected in November. Obama, with the exception of some very mild rhetoric, could scarcely be more cooperative with Israeli Government interests; and Romney is quite open about his willingness to be drawn into WWIII. This is to be expected since both men are public representatives for the same agenda, just like their predecessors.
Because of this fact, it would be very interesting to investigate just what Romney’s ties to the intelligence community may be. After all, he has openly professed his parallel vision with the mad dog of the Middle East, Bibi Netanyahu. As Romney has stated, “We can almost speak in shorthand. We share common experiences and have a perspective and underpinning which is similar.”
Of course, it should also be pointed out that Romney and Obama’s loyalty to Israeli interests does not equal loyalty to the Israeli people, who are only being used as the battering rams and triggers of destabilization and world war. Nor do the American people factor into this equation as anything but financiers and warm bodies for future military adventures.
With the obvious oppression of the Palestinian people, we see a clear recipe for a lose-lose-lose situation all the way around, except for the very small cliques at the top who will laugh, as they always do, all the way to the bank.

[Thanks again to all. The math is complete! I just need to plugin and hookup all the footnotes. I promise to do that as soon as I can. In the meantime, if you have any questions on a specific line, please ask. Also, if you think of any costs that I forgot, or have an issue with one of my figures, please let me know.]
Your slavery is well hidden. Not everyone understands it when I say that the government steals 70%+ of your life because they haven't seen the math. So I am going to break this down for everyone. I will try to reference sources where possible. Instead of going into long explanations for each item, I will foot note the explanations.
Before I go into it though, something which you need to understand is that no one up the food chain pays for anything. All extra costs and expenses are passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices, so you may not understand that $3 of that milk price is government theft, but it is.
Also, I am not going to differentiate between local, state, and federal taxation. It is all government theft and I see no reason to make a distinction.
Average Household Gross Income : $62,857.00+
Federal Income Tax Bracket ( 25%) : $ 6,876.00-
Estimated State Tax Bracket ( 5%) : $ 3,142.00-
Social Security Tax (12.4%) : $ 7,794.00-
Unemployment insurance, etc ( 2%) : $ 1,257.00-
---
So your estimated "net" is : $43,788.00+
Inflation*1 ( 10%) : $ 4,378.00-
Sales Tax ( 6%) : $ 2,364.54-
Compliance SOX* ( 0.1%) : $ 43.00-
Compliance General ( 0.5%) : $ 218.00-
---
Adjusted Spendable "wealth" : $36,784.00+
---
[Vehicle Ownership]
Gov Taxes Vehicle Ownership : $ 200.00-
Gov Extortion(1 ticket/y) : $ 300.00-
Gov Mandate (Insurance $150/m) : $ 1800.00-
Fed Fuel Tax ($.495/g, 15g/w) : $ 386.00-
After Vehicle Taxes/Theft : $34,098.00+
[Housing Costs]
Property Taxes ($150k@1.5%) : $ 2250.00-
Ordinance Compliance*2 ($5k/y@2%) : $ 100.00-
Trash/Water Service (used or not) : $ 480.00-
After Housing Taxes/Theft : $31,529.00+
Wow, we haven't even fed ourselves and the government has already looted around 50% in DIRECT and easy to understand costs. Just wait until we get to the indirect costs!
[General Living]
Food Price Controls* ($300/m@10%) : $ 360.00-
1 Week Vacation (Hotel $100/n@15%) : $ 105.00-
School Supplies (2 Children $100/c) : $ 200.00-
Utility Taxes ($300/m@10%) : $ 360.00-
Which brings our total wealth to : $30,504.00+
Whew... That's it right? It's been rough but we seem to still have some left. First, you have to remember that the above is JUST what government takes, forces, or controls. That doesn't include ANYTHING tangible, just the taxes on tangible goods and services! And unfortunately, we aren't done.
[More pain]
Healthcare Mandate (Family Plan) : $14,700.00-
(Or if you opt for the fee, it can be considerable but somewhat cheaper!)
Government taxation and compliance however is not a "specific" cost. It, in fact, has would I call a 10% life. At each stage, it has an impact. For instance, when you buy a stereo, you are also paying for fuel taxes in transportation, tariffs on import, regulation and compliance overhead for that company. Who in turn, is paying the same costs for their suppliers, etc. The ability to calculate this 10% life in the form of higher prices is almost impossible in complexity. But given the number of hands that these things pass through before you ever see it, I think it is more than fair to take off about 10% of our initial "Adjusted Spendable Income" of 36,784.00 creating a cost of $3,678.00.
Actual wealth after gov interference to : $12,126.00
In closing, I want to say this. What prompted me to do the math is that when I started to do well ($60k range), my friends who were still making 15-20k looked at me like I was rich, but for some reason, I always seemed to be just as bad or worse off than them. Some of the math is impossible to know, and so where there is no clear answer, I made a conservative guess.
So in actuality, you are only circulating about $12k if you make/spend 60. The rest belongs to our masters. And don't even get me started on the corporate masters which take away what little is left.
I have no clear way to correctly estimate what the cost of goods and services would be without this interference but what I can say is that they leave you with only 19.2% of your initial "wealth".
This is why we can't have nice things. :)

Ask DP
Everyone knows there's not a "snow-balls chance in hell" that Mitt Romney can possibly beat Barack Obama this fall; especially now that the Supreme Court ruled "National-Romney-Care" legal and constitutional. Could it be more obvious to anyone that the old guard Republicans are simply giving Obama the "ultimate straw man" in nominating Romney?
Could it be that the Republicans struck a deal with the Democrats in a joint effort to repress Ron Paul's message? Every Democrat and Republican I know falls quiet as mouse when you hold up Nobel-Obama-Speak or Double-Speak-Romney to Doctor-Know-Paul.
I'm beginning to think both parties are colluding against all of us! Am I delusional, or can anyone else see my point? Is the G.O.P. just stalling till 2016? What's the long play here?

In order to win he has to buy all the major metro area polling stations + buy millions of hanging chads + buy the re-count + buy all the Diebold programmers + buy key Governors + buy the entire Supreme Court.
Wait a minute, that's the strategy.

Yah out of the last 4 people in the primary Romney was the worst pick.
Most electable out of the 5
1. Ron Paul
2. Newt Gingrich
3. Barrack Obama
4. Rick Santorum (Close 4th)
5. Mitt Romney
Ron Paul would of beat Obama with ease as we all know with a true difference to obama's views
Gingrich would of had a rougher time with his past comeing up in attack ad's but the man can speak and is one hell of a debater
Obama still has some pretty strong support and is the incumbent advantage
Santorum like paul would really be a big difference to obama but no way could he get the independents behind him it would be close but i think obama would win it
Romney no chance in hell... "any one but obama" only goes so far

GOP voters chose Romney because they want to win and they think Romney is most likely to be able to appeal to the independent voters they'll need to beat Obama
.
With most GOP voters it's not about principles. Many of them lean toward liberty but when push comes to shove they run back into the arms of big mama govt for security. They're not willing to swallow the whole individual liberty pill. They only like to nibble at the edges, kinda like the way a princess nibbles on hor dourves at a cocktail party. The truth is, principled men like Ron Paul scare the living $hit outta most republicans

The PNAC and the American Interprise Institute have surely infiltrated the upper parts of the Republican Party. These people telegraph on CSPAN. I mean, give me a break - Romney? A statistical for sure take it to the bank proven time and again that this is a candidate the people will not accept. A sure bet. No red dems no swings. Romney has about as much appeal as Jonn McCain had in 2008. Unexpectedly Sarah Palin was making him win.
The tea party is born. So what did McCain do? He took a poison pill, votes for 757 billion dollar banker bailout and suspends his campaign to do so.
The tea party is born. How on earth can the GOP back Romney and maintain any credibility? Key Republican Party members are part of a power structure - a syndicate with no interest in building a strong America or upholding the rule of law. No interest in you, and certainly no interest in the future of the GOP; Obviously.

I had a friend tip me off about the Republican Oath the other day. I hadn't ever read it before.
Mitt Romney breaks every single one of the beliefs with his stances.
Knowing that came in really handy just a couple of days later. Some woman told me "Ron Paul is NOT a Republican!" I politely said, "if you read the Republican oath, he certainly is. However, Romney is not." My guess is she scurried off to get a copy of the oath. I'm sure I'm not the only one that hadn't read it. :)
Oh, and the Republican Preamble is a good chuckle too.

As we are closing in on the Republican National Convention, it seems as if the Ron Paul Campaign has conjured up a plan to once again shock the nation.
Few acknowledge that fact Mitt Romney has not even been formally nominated, let alone the fact that Ron Paul is still actively campaigning for the nomination.
However, the official campaign of Ron Paul and a small Paul supporting grassroots group named LAWYERS FOR RON PAUL are effectively working above the fray in order to make the biggest impact this August.
The Ron Paul campaign has not stopped and has something up it's sleeves come this August.

1938 Austria
America truly is the Greatest Country in the World.
By: Kitty Werthmann (85 yrs.old)
What I am about to tell you is something you've probably never heard or will ever read in history books.
I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide - 98% of the vote. I've never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.
In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates.
Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.
The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna , Linz , and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.
We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany , where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group -- Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria . We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.
We were overjoyed, and, for three days, we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.
After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.
Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.
Hitler Targets Education - Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:
Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education.
Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.
My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday, when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first, but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time, unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly.
As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.
Equal Rights Hits Home:
In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant, if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.
Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat. Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.
Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare:
When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.
Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls;
Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna . After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.
As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.
We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.
We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the livestock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.
"Mercy Killing" Redefined:
In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps . The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day, I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.
As time passed , letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.
The Final Steps - Gun Laws:
Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law-abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long afterwards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.
No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.
Totalitarianism didn't come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria . Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little, eroded our freedom.
After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria. Women were raped, pre-teen to elderly. The press never wrote about this, either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't, paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.

"Elektable" (Ron Paul Short Film)

"Elektable" is a short fictional film about Ron Paul and the amazing political revolution he has inspired. The movie explores truth in the media and how it secretly holds a deep affection for Dr. Paul.
On a more serious note, Ron Paul still has a chance to win the GOP nomination. This will only happen if a majority of Americans realize that he is the true champion of the people. No amount of money and blatant blackouts can deny Dr. Paul the nomination if enough people get behind him and his message.
The film was written and directed by Jeremy Richter, a filmmaker from Chicago. Mr. Richter has worked on hundreds of TV commercials, brand films and corporate videos. In 2008, he served as Writer/Director for the full length feature film "Discovering Deerpath" (Rated "G", 124 minutes, with Bill Kurtis). Mr. Richter has worked directly with a range of celebrities, including Anchorman 1 & 2 star Bill Kurtis, hip hop artist Ludacris, Apollo 8 & 13 Astronaut Jim Lovell, golf Legend Arnold Palmer and World War II icon Greeley Wells (who brought the stars and stripes onto Iwo Jima).
All scenes for the film were shot in Chicago over 4 days using the Red One MX and Epic Cameras. The sets shown in the film were custom built for this effort.

Christians should repent and vote for Ron Paul, says pastor

In case you were not aware of it, this month is "Repent of Non-Christians Obama and Romney Month (2 Chronicles 19:2)."
"God commands the USA to have a Christian government so Americans can be blessed with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," writes Pastor Steven Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries. Andrew is "calling denominations, pastors and Christians throughout July to speak up for Christians to be elected, and to publicly repent of sinning against God with non-Christians Barack Obama and Mitt Romney." He claims that the Republican party should name Ron Paul as its nominee; otherwise, Christians need to leave the Republican and Democrat parties and rally behind the Constitution Party's candidate.
According to Andrew, a number of people and organizations associated with the religious right are straying down the wrong path. "Sadly, many turned astray with Romney or Obama and refused to repent when asked, including Franklin Graham, Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen, Jerry Falwell Jr, Tony Perkins, Richard Land, TD Jakes, National Right to Life, Susan B Anthony, NOM and others. Their sins are obvious (Ezekiel 22:26-29)," he claims, adding "If you love Jesus and want to help the USA, then call for Ron Paul or Virgil Goode to be President and repent of Obama and Romney in July."
Goode is the candidate of the Constitution Party, which calls for a theocratic, Bible-based form of government.
"You are throwing your vote away by voting for God's enemies-because helping those who hate the LORD gets God angry (2Chronicles 19:2)," he warns.
"God warns that Obama and Romney are 'accursed' (Galatians 1:9). Christians believe that Jesus is the Second Person of the Godhead. As a Mormon, Romney thinks Jesus is a created being, the spirit brother of Lucifer. Mormons also think men become a God," he alleges. "Obama covered the name and cross of Jesus at Georgetown, believes in leaving living babies to die who survive botched abortions and is trying to remove the Bible from government."
"God says turn away from Obama and Romney," Anderson concludes.

: If Mitt Romney loses his run for the White House, a turning point will have been his decision Monday to absolve President Obama of raising taxes on the middle class. He is managing to turn the only possible silver lining in Chief Justice John Roberts's ObamaCare salvage operation—that the mandate to buy insurance or pay a penalty is really a tax—into a second political defeat.
Appearing on MSNBC, close Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom was asked by host Chuck Todd if Mr. Romney "agrees with the president" and "believes that you shouldn't call the tax penalty a tax, you should call it a penalty or a fee or a fine?"
"That's correct," Mr. Fehrnstrom replied, before attempting some hapless spin suggesting that Mr. Obama must be "held accountable" for his own "contradictory" statements on whether it is a penalty or tax.
Predictably, the Obama campaign and the media blew past Mr. Fehrnstrom's point, jumped on the tax-policy concession, and declared the health-care tax debate closed.

Is Paul winning the national polls?
Romney is losing to Obama 43 to 48% in the National Gallup Poll, 5 July 12.
There are no recent polls pitting Obama against Ron Paul.
Ron Paul WON the last match-up with Obama on a 10 May 12 poll by Rasmussen.
Paul activists need to know where Ron Paul stands in the national polls at this time. Maybe Paul out polls Obama. We don't know. We do know Romney is losing to Obama.
We need to know if Ron Paul is winning. Remember during the debates when Paul would out poll all the other candidates? Maybe he's still winning and we just don't know it.
A national poll asking, "Who would you vote for in November, Paul or Obama?" can be conducted by a reputable pollster for around $2500.
We need a "Poll Bomb" and a national polling company to show us where the votes are. Maybe we're winning.
If Tampa wants "anyone but Obama," then, they must know they will not win with poll-loser Romney. A poll showing Paul beating Obama would convince the Tampa Delegates that Paul can beat Obama and Romney can't. That would be a/the compelling reason to nominate Paul.

Corruption Alert: Romney’s Choice of Michael Leavitt for Transition Team is Completely Unacceptable
The big news on Conservative blogs today is Mitt Romney has chosen Michael O. Leavitt, the former Utah Governor and HHS Secretary under President George W. Bush, to lead the transition, after Mitt is elected.
Reports: Romney Transition Chief Cashed in on Obama Health Plan
Leavitt, who served as Health and Human Services secretary under President George W. Bush, heads a firm that has positioned itself as a leading consultancy to help implement the Affordable Care Act, and it’s already won contracts to do so, Salon reports. On its web site, Leavitt Partners touts a section of the business that advises clients on how to implement and respond to the health insurance exchanges created by the Obama health care plan.

Ron, Rand Paul: Get Government Away From Internet
July 6, 2012 by Sam Rolley
http://personallibertycom.files.word...7512_image.jpgRon, Rand Paul: Get Government Away From Internet
Over the Independence Day holiday, some Internet freedom groups sought to remind Americans of the importance of protecting the World Wide Web from overreaching government regulation, a cause that Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul and his son Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) have joined wholeheartedly but with a different angle.
The Pauls set forth a plan to keep the Internet in the hands of the private sector, which they posit will shape the online world in a way conducive to freedom, liberty and economic growth in A Technology Revolution: A Campaign For Liberty Manifesto.
While other Internet freedom advocates have focused their efforts against Internet control more on corporate control of the Web, the Paul manifesto decries the “collectivist vision that seeks to regulate ‘fairness’, ‘neutrality’, ‘privacy’ or ‘competition’ through coercive state actions, or that views the Internet and technology as a vast commons that must be freely available to all.”
They say in the statement that corporations should not be heavily scrutinized by the government in their efforts to collect vast sums of online data for advertising purposes, but that government should be barred from using the Internet for warrantless surveillance.
The manifesto says:
Technology revolutionaries succeed because of the decentralized nature of the Internet, which defies government control. As a consequence, decentralization has unlocked individual self-empowerment, entrepreneurialism, creativity, innovation and the creation of new markets in ways never before imagined in human history. The manifesto warns that Americans will be tricked into allowing the government to take over new technologies with the use of subversive language and under the guise of protecting Americans from evil corporations.
But, ironically, just as decentralization has unleashed the potential for free markets and individual freedom on a global scale, collectivist special interests and governments worldwide are now tirelessly pushing for more centralized control of the Internet and technology.
“Internet collectivists are clever,” the manifesto says. “They are masters at hijacking the language of freedom and liberty to disingenuously push for more centralized control. ‘Openness’ means government control of privately owned infrastructure. ‘Net neutrality’ means government acting as arbiter and enforcer of what it deems to be ‘neutral’.”
According to Buzzfeed, some Republican strategists contend that Internet freedom from government control will be the younger Paul’s go-to issue, similar to his father’s crusade against the Federal Reserve.

Could Ron Paul pull an upset at Republican convention?
Ron Paul to hold "major" pre-convention rally.
The Capitol Column | Monday, July 02, 2012
http://www.capitolcolumn.com/news/wp...n_paul_739.jpg
Texas congressman and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul plans on holding a major rally for his supporters prior to the Republican national convention in August, according to an announcement posted to his presidential campaign website.
The Ron Paul campaign signed a contract on Thursday to secure the University of South Florida’s 11,000-seat Sun Dome for Sunday August 26th, the day prior to the beginning of the three-day Republican national convention, where presumptive Republican nominee is expected to accept the party’s nomination.
“The Republican National Convention is just around the corner, and the establishment is about to find out what you and I have known all along this election season – the future is ours!”
Mr. Paul wrote supporters in an email sent out on Friday. “So on Aug. 26, the day before the convention convenes, I hope you’ll join me at a special rally to celebrate how far our message and movement have come this year.”
Ron Paul supporters plan on organizing their own three day Ron Paul festival, leading up to the rally that will feature the libertarian candidate.
During a recent appearance on CNN, Mr. Paul refused to endorse Mr. Romney, as he wants to have a strong presence at the campaign for his thousands of supporters who are expected to show up in strong numbers. Mr. Romney and Mr. Paul have different views of how the Republican party can not only win the general election, but also restore the economic vibrancy of the U.S. economy and reduce the national unemployment rate.
The Texas congressman has amassed a significant number of state delegates. The Republican party’s uniquely binding delegate rules has allowed Mr. Paul to build support, and the strong number of delegates could serve as providing Mr. Paul with credibility among Mr. Romney and the other top Republicans Tampa for the convention.
The Republican National Committee has approved of the pre-convention rally that will feature Mr. Paul, according to his campaign website, which further gives the Texas Republican and his supporters credibility for having their views heard on balancing the federal budget, scaling back government involvement in domestic affairs and drastically reducing the nation’s military presence in foreign countries.
Ron Paul campaign chairman said that the goal of the rally is to set a tone of “professionalism and respect” for the delegates that will be supporting Mr. Paul at the national convention. In recent weeks, both Mr. Paul and members of his campaign team have asked his supporters not to portray a negative or argumentative tone at the national convention, in an effort to make sure that his message for the Republican establishment is not shrouded by negative reports about his supporters.
The Ron Paul rally is not a ticketed event at the University of Southern Florida, so it will be interesting to see how many Ron Paul supporters travel from all over the country to show how much support their candidate has.

Duly Elected Delegates and Alternates Will Continue Convention Preparations.
http://www.ordelegates2012.org/2012/07/orp-appoints-friends-...
SALEM, Ore. – Oregon Republican Party (ORP) Executive Committee members gathered for a secret meeting in Eugene Saturday, June 30 in an ultra vires attempt to appoint replacements for the state’s duly elected alternate delegates. This meeting came exactly one week after the ORP Congressional District (CD) Conventions elected delegates, alternate delegates, presidential electors, and district officers. Executive committee friends and family received the illegitimate appointments – some without even filing for the office – and duly elected alternate delegates received a conciliatory letter from ORP Chairman Allen Alley on their “unsuccessful” election.
CD Conventions held June 23 were met with several hours of delays after voting for delegates to the Republican National Convention and presidential electors to the Electoral College. After more than two hours of delays, CD Chairmen at each convention simultaneously stated the meetings could not proceed later than 5 p.m. and announced, without a motion from the floor, that the conventions were to be immediately adjourned by order of ORP Chairman Alley.
A strong majority of attendees at Congressional District Conventions 2, 3, 4 and 5 objected, voted to continue their business — some in the absence of their CD Chairman and ORP officials — and concluded elections for alternate delegates to the Republican National Convention. PCPs who stayed past 5 p.m. included supporters of Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, and Newt Gingrich.
“There was an organized effort by ORP leadership to impede the proceedings of the conventions and stall for as long as possible,” said Kevin Renfrow, PCP and duly elected alternate delegate. “They were blaming our delays [in CD-5] on CD-4,” said Diana Hengerer, PCP from CD-5. “In CD-3 they blamed CD-5 and in CD-1 they blamed CD-3.”
“It’s clear Alley and ORP leadership are not happy with the delegation election results,” said Tom Armstrong, PCP and House District Captain. “They wanted their family, friends, and ‘good old boys’ seated on the delegation and they’re willing to break every rule and bylaw to make that happen.” Armstrong’s outrage is shared by those whose vote was unduly dismissed and whose voting rights were violated.
Illegitimate alternate delegate appointments include Kevin L. Mannix, Tim Nashif, and Loren Later who did not file for the positions to which they were appointed; Lindsay Berschauer, Bridget Barton, and Rob Kremer, principal members of Third Century Solutions, a public affairs company with Associate Alley Alley; Ourania Yue, wife of National Committeeman and Executive Committee member Solomon Yue; Jeff Grossman, executive committee member; Lauri S. Hein, in a relationship with Jeff Grossman; Loren Later, executive committee member; Elisa Later, wife of Loren Later; Lisa Walker, wife of FreedomWorks Vice-President Russ Walker whose delegate election is contested; Lindsay Berschauer, running for state representative in House District 26 and worked for the Oregon Transformation Project chaired by Allen Alley; Rob Kremer, ORP treasurer; Andrew Miller, CEO of Oregon Transformation Project, chaired by Allen Alley; Tim Nashif, Oregon Family Council co-founder; and Kevin L. Mannix, who ran for Oregon governor in 2002 and 2006 and Congress in 2008.
In a letter sent to all duly elected alternate delegates July 5, Alley stated, “If you are receiving this letter, you have not been elected as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the Oregon Delegation for the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL. Thank you so much for your service to our Party.” [1]
The duly elected Oregon Delegation condemned the actions of Allen Alley and ORP leadership and admonished them to follow ORP Bylaws, Standing Rules, and the will of the CD conventions. Duly elected delegates and alternate delegates will continue their preparations for the Republican National Convention held August 27-30 in Tampa, Fla.
Saturday’s secret Executive Committee meeting is the latest in a series of controversial actions by ORP leadership surrounding the ORP CD Conventions and it’s clear that Oregon Republicans are taking notice. A resolution to the Executive Committee, the Oregon Republican Party, and the Republican National Committee began circulating to the State’s hundreds of Precinct Committee Persons (PCPs) early this week. PCPs who have been disenfranchised and whose voting rights have been violated have been asked to join the letter as signatories.
The resolution states firmly that, “We, the undersigned, duly elected [PCPs], do hereby recognize and serve notice … that the business of the ORP Executive Committee meeting held June 30, 2012 is invalidated by operation of law in accordance with ORP Bylaws, Article IV, Section E for failure to give the required 30 day written notice … and furthermore, we … do hereby direct and admonish [the] ORP Executive Committee members to follow the laws and the bylaws…” [2]

Ron Paul 2012
It should come as no surprise that the establishment is waking up to the realization that Romney may very well NOT be the nominee come convention time, and it would appear that "prominent" Republicans are beginning to pout because they might not get to speak at the convention, although their excuses are that they need to "campaign" instead. I think they just know that nobody wants to hear their bs. Oh, and we won't be nominating their candidate of choice....
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Former presidential candidate Jon Huntsman announced Friday that he plans to stay home in protest.
Former Virginia Sen. George Allen confirmed this week that he plans to campaign instead of travel to Tampa, Fla.; Montana Rep. Denny Rehberg—who is running for Senate—will also not be in attendance; and Nevada Sen. Dean Heller said this week he is considering begging off if he doesn't get a major speaking role.
"If they want us to speak, we'll probably be there," Heller, who skipped the 2008 convention, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "If they don't choose for us to get a good speaking position, we'll probably stay here and campaign."
Sounds like these people are more worried about "getting a good speaking position" than actually trying to help the American people.
