Ron Paul Revolution: The Write-in Campaign *UPDATE*

Submitted by Wisdom Strategies on Sat, 09/29/2012 - 23:50
    Ron Paul 2012

    Hello, Dear Friends.

I have thought so much on what to do and for TRUE Ron Paul Supporters The Write-In Strategy is really The Only Option left.
For such a strategy to have an impact we would have to let it be known.
There is only one way to do that:
Take The Message To The Sky: Leasing Banner-Flying Planes.
    RON PAUL R[3]VOLUTION - Write-In Ron Paul.
The entire project should be documented to PROVE TO THE WORLD what we have worked so hard to achieve.
This would be for States where Ron Paul can be written-in.
We would need a Money Bomb to launch such a project.
I asked around before the RNC "sham" convention and the cost per day is a few thousand dollars. Not much compared with all the money we have raised.
Remember our first Money-Bomb? $6 Million Dollars In One Day!
We raise a mere One Hundred Thousand to begin and we launch it.
With just that, we can have planes flying Write-In Ron Paul Banners in every state where Ron Paul can be written in.
This would have to be a 100% Grassroots effort and I have not asked him but Eric from The Super Brochure Project is someone I trust.
He is an awesome human being and with him every penny we raise will be accounted for through Dr. K. Research.
I will call him tomorrow and update all of you.
All I need is for people to SUPPORT this message.
Win or lose, THE MESSAGE WOULD MAKE WORLDWIDE NEWS.
That could be an Icing On The Cake part of a Documentary of all our work for World Peace.
I welcome everyone's help and ideas.
    The very first one is:
In which States can Ron Paul be written-In?
Then we focus on those States.
After so much work - 5 years - I cannot let go so easily.
MAKE A STATEMENT, RON PAUL R[3]VOLUTION!
I love all of you with all my heart ♥

The Norwegian Storting (Parliament of Norway): Nominate US Congressman Dr. Ron Paul for the Nobel Peace Prize

Submitted by RPforPrsdnt on Mon, 10/08/2012 - 21:47 Ron Paul 2012

Dr. Ron Paul has been unwavering for decades in his message to end all foreign wars the United States gets involved with. He is the highest ranking US official that wants to bring all of our troops home and close hundreds of pointless US military bases around the world that serve only to extend an imperial presence. This alone justifies recognition.

Dr. Paul represents millions of Americans who want peace. We don't believe in the mainstream rationale that these wars are for a good reason. We are awake to peace.

Dr. Paul is responsible for waking more people up than anyone else in recent history.

The power of Dr. Paul's movement for peace and liberty has flourished despite the hostility emanating from the US mainstream media and widespread political cronyism. The power of Dr. Paul and his movement should be recognized with a Nobel Peace Prize.

Thank you for signing this petition.

Of course this is an unscientific poll, but I was wondering what people's thoughts were on this issue.

I know Romney loves to threaten other countries, but will his boys lead the way?

Glenn Beck Needs To Make Some More Frog Soup

October 8, 2012 by Sam Rolley

Ron Paul supporters who have decided that they can simply not bring themselves to support Mitt Romney or Barack Obama for President in November may soon get a clue from the Tea Party original himself as to who is the best candidate for disillusioned liberty lovers.

In an interview with Fox Business last week, Paul reiterated the fact that he has not offered any support for the Romney campaign saying: “I obviously haven’t announced in support for Romney, so that means that’s very unlikely. And I don‘t think anybody thinks I’m going to vote for Obama. So it’s back to that frustration level in not seeing a dramatic choice in how the system works.”

Paul also suggested a third-party candidate may be a better option for a voter who doesn’t want to be complicit in electing a President who really has little or no likelihood of dramatically changing the direction of the Nation.

“There are other people who are technically capable of winning because they’re on a lot of ballots,” Paul said, though he stopped short of offering a particular endorsement at this time.

The very conservative former candidate elicited shrieks from supposed conservatives like The Blaze writer Meredith Jessup, who, in a column entitled “Ron Paul Is Really Starting To Tick Me Off” writes a familiar “conservative nose-holder voting for Romney” response:
Countless conservatives voting for Romney this fall didn’t support him in the primary election but are now throwing their support behind the best chance this country has right now to avoid driving off a fiscal cliff. Countless conservatives don’t agree with Romney on many issues, but see that they agree with Romney much more than they disagree with him. Countless conservatives realize that voting for Romney doesn’t represent a rousing endorsement for every policy position he has. And countless conservatives also know that a president is only capable of change with cooperation with Congress and if they want real change, it’s more important to elect conservatives from their local districts to represent them in Washington.

Jessup also trumps up to selfishness Paul’s and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson’s ambition to change the direction of the country drastically rather than mutedly, writing: “But the threat of four more years of Barack Obama apparently doesn’t matter to Paul, Johnson and their supporters who think the principle of their protest trumps the best interests of the country.”

The writer’s opinion is interesting coming from someone writing for a website created by the same guy — Glenn Beck — who took massive heat from Republicans three years ago when he told Katie Couric he would have voted for Hillary Clinton over John McCain before boiling rubber frogs to demonstrate why. Beck’s hypothesis, aptly demonstrated with his frog toy, was this: Someone who polarizes the Nation and gives real conservatives a reason to resist heavily, is much safer than a fake conservative who is able to lull others into a false sense of security as they boil to death.

Despite his aversion to supporting a progressive in conservatives clothing in the last election, Beck seems to be happy to support his fellow Mormon in this election, despite a heavy stench of progressivism lingering in the air.

So-called conservatives like the aforementioned writer of the column calling out Paul for not backing Romney already know that Obama is a liberal. They know that he wants to raise taxes and do away with the Bush tax cuts. These things scare them to death. But, evidently, they don’t fear the unknown. They don’t fear a candidate who has been on the same side of the aisle as Obama on a number of issues including social issues, taxes, global warming, ethanol, “model for the nation” healthcare and others but isn’t now only because he says he isn’t.

It would seem — to borrow from Beck — that many so-called conservatives are ready to jump out of this nearly four-year-old boiling pot of water and right into a more slowly heating cauldron where they may be cooked in a more relaxing manner.

But while Paul may be ticking off columnists like Jessup and Beck may have lost the fervor he had back in his days at Fox, not much has changed in the time since the last election: Two guys are running, one a known liberal and the other with closeted liberal tendencies; the economy is in shambles; and neither candidate is offering a clear plan on how to fix it. The bottom line is that conservatives who believe voting for a real conservative candidate is a throwaway are simply telling you (again hat tip to Beck’s frog boiling), “I’m tired of fighting and would much rather be boiled slowly.”

In the meantime, America can probably (and hopefully) expect Paul to make headlines in coming weeks when he throws his support behind a candidate who is on the ballot in 48 States and has been steadfast in his political beliefs.

That candidate said this in response to the debate — which he was not invited to, some suggest illegally — last week:

Everyone, including President Obama and former governor Mitt Romney, gives lip service to reducing the deficit. But when you do the math — whether it be Obama’s, Romney’s or even Paul Ryan’s — there is no plan for eliminating deficits that adds up. When a politician, Republican or Democrat, tells you we can balance the budget while not reducing Medicare costs or while spending even more for defense, it simply cannot be done. And they know it can’t be done.

Americans deserve the truth. The truth is that our deficits are not only unsustainable, but represent a very real threat to this nation. And of the $16 trillion in debt our government in Washington has racked up, it is almost equally split between Republican and Democrat administrations.

It doesn’t have to be that way. I will submit a balanced budget in 2013. Yes, that budget will call for spending reductions of 43% — the reductions necessary to match revenues without raising taxes.
And it would only be fitting for Paul to support the Libertarian. Johnson never flip-flopped, instead spending a massive amount of time smashing down his veto stamp (750 times on bills and thousands of budget line items) during his two terms as New Mexico Governor.

Besides, why turn down the flame under the water pot when there’s a way to cut the gas?

Ron Paul: "Government Dependency Will End In Chaos"

Submitted by Alliance With None on Tue, 10/09/2012 - 18:48
    Economy

    by Ron Paul

The media insists on characterizing statements about dependency on government handouts as controversial, but in truth such statements are absolutely correct. It's not that nearly half of Americans are dependent on government; it's actually more than half. If one includes not just people on food stamps and welfare, but also seniors on Medicare, Social Security and people employed by the government directly, the number is more like 165 million out of 308 million, which is 53%.

Some argue that Social Security and Medicare benefits are a right because people pay into these programs their whole lives, or that we need a government safety net in place for people who fall on hard times. However, this all becomes a moot point when the funds people depend on become worthless due to government default or rampant inflation.

This is less an issue of dignity or dependence on government, and more about the deceitfulness of government promises.

The Fed recently announced that it plans to keep interest rates near zero and keep buying near worthless assets from banks indefinitely. This enables Congress to spend without having to take deficits or the debt seriously and there is every indication they intend to spend with impunity until the system collapses. There are no brakes on the runaway train. The federal debt ceiling law does nothing to limit spending. The ceiling will have to be raised yet again perhaps before the year is out. What is happening in Greece with austerity measures and riots in the street will happen here within a decade according to some realistic estimates if we do not find some way to fiscally restrain our government.

Pat Buchanan and (Gasp) Laura Ingraham knock Romney's neocon foreign policy

Pat Buchanan warns ‘the neocons are pushing’ Romney toward the ‘freedom agenda’

Daily Caller: On Monday, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney offered his foreign policy vision in a speech at the Virginia Military Institute. But that speech, according to conservative commentator Pat Buchanan, was a little too close to the “neocon” agenda for comfort.

In an appearance on Laura Ingraham’s radio show on Tuesday, Buchanan, the author of “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?,” said Romney ought to distance himself from former President George W. Bush’s hawkish record on foreign policy, which came to define neoconservative ideology.

GOP now ironically begging Ron Paul supporters for help

    Elections 2012
    October 9, 2012
    By: Jeffrey Phelps

It wasn't long ago that the GOP establishment and the mainstream media hated Ron Paul, his supporters and everything they stand for...original conservative American values. Why then is VP candidate Paul Ryan and the GOP now begging for their support? Credits: Justin Sullivan / Getty Images

The Houston Chronicle posted their weekly report on Saturday detailing their top 10 most popular articles of the week. Third most popular was an article describing GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan's plea to Ron Paul supporters, begging for their support, just weeks after the GOP and the media egregiously shunned Paul supporters at the national convention and throughout the entire 2012 nomination process.

Potentially hoping the vast majority of Ron Paul's supporters have already forgotten how badly they were treated during the election season, by the GOP establishment, in almost every state that Paul's supporters had an opportunity to participate, all of the sudden it seems as though Paul's supporters are important enough to the Republicans that they feel it necessary to now start begging for support.

Mere weeks ago the long-standing attitude by both the establishment and its media was that Ron Paul and his supporters were nothing but a nuisance, wanting nothing to do with anything associated with Ron Paul. They wouldn't let him speak at the national convention, even though he was one of the only two candidates left standing and he was literally forced to walk the convention floor for support like a petty, third-rate peasant. The convention staff did everything in their power to discredit and literally, illegally disqualify duly and legally elected Ron Paul delegates from participating in the process and coercively manipulated the proceedings so Paul delegates couldn't have any meaningful effect on the outcome, of any aspect, of the convention. Yet, now the Republicans, or at least Paul Ryan, realizes they may not have a chance to win without them.

Since prior to January's Iowa caucus the Republican establishment and its media, on both sides of the aisle, have been acting as if Ron Paul supporters were kooks, nut jobs and conspiracy theorists. Throughout the entire process Paul supporters have had to endure some of the most outrageous claims and character assassinations politics has ever seen. Since the Tea Party movement was adopted by Ron Paul and his supporters in 2007, prior to it being co-opted by the Republican establishment, the world has seen some of the most sadistic and horrific rhetoric and actions ever established to prevent a legitimate candidate from having a fair chance and opportunity in a political process.

Almost every single state that allowed for individuals to participate in a delegate selection process, after that state's initial straw poll (caucus) concluded, so-called GOP “officials” participated in unimaginable rules violations and practices to prevent Ron Paul and his supporters from gaining any momentum or having any success, without any demand for accountability by anyone in the GOP establishment or the mainstream media. Even going to such extremes as submitting fake slates of delegates to the convention floor, subverting or breaking many other rules if Paul's supporters were winning convention battles, physically assaulting supporters, kicking them out of local, regional or state conventions or were even having them arrested to prevent participation. Had the media been honest about the process, been honest about who was winning the polls prior to the beginning of the election season and demanded fairness and integrity throughout the process, it is very likely Ron Paul and his truly educated and conservative values, policies and ideologies would have won out with the conservative American constituency.

Forthcoming journalists like Ben Swann of WXIX Cincinnati and the Conspiracy Examiner, via Examiner.com, carefully and thoroughly documented almost every step of the 2012 GOP nomination process and clearly spelled out an obvious agenda, doing everything it took, both physically and psychologically, to steal the nomination for a pro-establishment candidate, like Mitt Romney, to secure a “choice” for the American people that would not deviate too far from the current direction the establishment, on either side of the aisle, has been speeding toward for decades. All while thoroughly demonizing Ron Paul and his supporters in the media as the antithesis of anything America needs, during the entire process.

To the vast majority of Ron Paul supporters and any other American voter that has done research independent from sources suggested by the typical mainstream talking head, Romney represents almost none of the ideals and policies they would expect to see from a president, especially one claiming to be a conservative. Even Republican establishment gatekeeper Rush Limbaugh has thoroughly detailed the fact that Romney resembles nothing like the typical conservative. That being said, other than very little of the recent rhetoric adopted since Romney began running for president in 2007, his political history, voting record and historical commentary is actually closer to Obama's than any other candidate presented to the American people since Obama himself ran for office four years ago. It's actually quite stunning to see the American people buy into the establishment media's rhetoric about any differences Obama and Romney may have considering just how similar both candidates are.

Both candidates have maintained a belief in socialized medicine, the bailout (TARP) of so-called “too big to fail” global banking cartels (the same institutions that have generally funded both campaigns with massive contributions...Romney's campaign funding vs. Obama's), the continued militarization of the Middle East and North Africa (PNAC) for the continued domination of energy resources in the region and the continued degradation of the Muslim culture, the ultimate invasion of Iran while pushing Israeli-style Iranian nuclear weapons propaganda, the Patriot Act, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that includes the unconstitutional indefinite detention of American citizens, the continued trust in a private Federal Reserve system that has overseen a 98% decrease in the value of the US dollar since its inception in 1913 and any other extremely important policy that isn't discussed in an open forum like presidential debates or on the local or national news.

The vast majority of Ron Paul supporters are fully aware of these circumstances… The very reason they became Ron Paul supporters to begin with. Very few are shaken in any meaningful way by the new GOP request to “fall in line” with the Republican establishment for fear of Romney losing to Obama if they don't add their support to the Republican base. Ron Paul supporters realize there truly is very little difference between Obama and Romney, especially when it comes to the policies that truly matter to the American people. Ron Paul supporters are more concerned about the continued loss of their rights and freedoms and understand that, even if Romney were to win, no significant changes are going to occur.

The common talking points Obama and Romney argue about publicly, Obama-care, abortion, and the way they argue about jobs and the economy are laughable and neither has ever offered any significant ideas of value that would indicate a change from a direction that has seen the epic declines in American education, the value of the US dollar, American living standards, industrialization and the shipping of jobs overseas by both candidates, the quality of food and so many other important aspects that affect the lives of the American people.

Americans have instead witnessed decades of growing obesity rates and the declining overall health of the American people, skyrocketing health care costs, skyrocketing fuel prices, skyrocketing debt that recently surpassed $16 trillion and is well on its way to $17 trillion and climbing, the loss of age-old civil liberties, an ever-growing police state and so many other aspects of an American lifestyle that now seems to be nothing more than a distant memory. Ask either of the two remaining candidates and they will even tell you they are both open gun control advocates and will both likely continue supporting the UN in pushing for the further reduction of gun rights in America, via policies like the UN small arms Treaty, as well.

Absolutely nothing about a neocon like Mitt Romney entices Ron Paul supporters into throwing their support into his corner and by Paul Ryan now openly begging for their support, even after how poorly they've been treated over the past five years by both the GOP and the establishment's mainstream local and national media, it's not only embarrassing that they'd even bring themselves to ask, it also gives credence to just how desperate the Romney campaign and the GOP is for support.

Maybe the GOP establishment and those in the mainstream media that still actually believe Romney represents any real change from the status quo or the current path America has been on for the past few decades should've thought about how important Ron Paul's supporters were to their success, prior to treating them like they were the black plague over the past five years... Not that Libertarian and conservative minded patriots like Ron Paul supporters would have ever backed a quasi-liberal neocon like Romney in the first place. Not even for his quasi-neocon running mate, Paul Ryan.
