Why is it that we have to constantly call them over and over? When are they going to finally GET IT??????


NO AMNESTY!

I always tell them this is not for "kids" it is for adults, and gives legal status to the entire family of any and all illegals who can pass the 8th grade level GED test in Spanish (or Chinese etc.)!

Why should Americans pay many billions for this when they can already get an education in their country of origin?!

I just called Reid and Durbins office. Durbins office said it would not come up this week but wasn't sure when. I said, "Reid said that it would be by November 16 and she said yes but not any time soon, not this week."

Don't trust them, but I got similar response from Reid's office.

I just called McConnell's office and they didn't have it on the docket for discussion either but if it came up McConnell would work hard to get it defeated.

I got those reponses as well, however I am with you GOGO , we cannot afford to trust them. They have misled us over and over.

Now that the Senate has completed action on the CJS spending bill, senators have taken up the labor, health and human services spending bill (H.R. 3043). Previously, Capitol Hill sources told NumbersUSA that open borders senators might offer the DREAM Act amnesty as an amendment to that bill, but sources now indicate that the probability of this ill-conceived scheme being proposed again at this time is waning. It is believed that majority leadership is now pushing for a vote on the DREAM Act as a free-standing measure. In either case, NumbersUSA members are encouraged to contact their senators to stave off any action on the DREAM Act.

I look forward to fighting it as a standalone bill. Thats how it should be introduced.

If this happens Ill get my family involved in calls - so far its just been me. I look forward to it because whats happened so far, calling etc, will pale in comparison to the number of calls/faxes/emails that will come if its brought up this fall as a stand alone.
