Mark Amodei has been added to ALIPAC's Illegal Alien Amnesty Supporter List and to the Eric Cantor List. On August 15, 2013, Esther Yu-Hsi Lee of the pro amnesty group, Think Progress, praised Mark Amodei for saying he supports a pathway to citizenship for some immigrants. Rep. Mark Amodei (R-NV) told the Reno Gazette Journal in an interview that such a pathway to citizenship is not “amnesty” for the 11 million undocumented immigrants who have to pay hefty penalties and wait a decade to become naturalized.

Amodei said he supports an expedited legal pathway for undocumented youths, and citizenship for other undocumented immigrants at the end of ten years after they pass a background check and learn English. (click to read entire article)

This kind of amnesty plan is one we have heard many times before where the GOP lawmaker wants to change American laws to accommodate millions of illegal immigrants. These laws give the illegals what they want and signals the more than 1 Billion other potential illegal aliens on the Earth that they can break into America and America will accommodate and surrender to their desires!

GOP amnesty supporters argue against the term "amnesty" because they know it will destroy them within the GOP. So they use talking points like "expedited legal pathway" and "secure the borders first."

But if anyone had any doubts that Congressman Mark Amodei supports amnesty for illegals, that fact was proven on August 7, 2014, when Breitbart's Tony Lee reported that the amnesty support group called the National Council of La Raza was praising Amodei for supporting illegals.

The NCLR or National Council of the Race (Raza), is a Hispanic supremacy group that seeks to become more powerful and influential in America through illegal immigrant invasion and amnesty for illegals.

Mark Amodei (R-NV), Mike Coffman (R-CO), Jeff Denham (R-CA), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Cory Gardner (R-CO), Joe Heck (R-NY), Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Dave Reichert (R-WA), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Fred Upton (R-MI), and David Valadao (R-CA) for voting against a bill that would have ended Obama's Executive Action Amnesties for illegals! Mark Amodei opposed Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn’s bill H.R. 5272, which would freeze the DACA program and prohibit the Federal government from making modifications to Obama's original amnesty granting executive order that would expand the number of illegal immigrants eligible for it. The bill would also stop authorization of any new deferred actions, such as deportations, and would prohibit those illegal aliens from being able to work within the US.
