Renee Ellmers (R-NC) US Congress Supports Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

    Renee Ellmers
,was added to ALIPAC's Illegal Alien Amnesty Supporters List in 2014 and The Eric Cantor List in 2015.

    Renee Ellmers Amnesty Support Summary:

Renee Ellmers, has always refused to answer ALIPAC's one question federal candidate survey that lets voters know if candidates support our current immigration laws or a form of amnesty even though her district is in our backyard of North Carolina!

We found out why Renee Ellmers did not want to fill out that survey on October 1, 2013, when the following illegal alien amnesty support language was found on her website....

"This afternoon I was encouraged to meet with local leaders to discuss our current immigration policies and meaningful reforms that will be more in line with the realities facing millions of undocumented people. I believe that we must begin this debate by listening and then having a discussion so that we can understand the issue from all sides. I remain convinced that our first priority is to enforce the law and protect our borders so that we know who is entering our country. At the same time, we need to address the millions of people who are already in this country and formulate a process for them to earn legal work status. Immigration reform is essential to building a healthy, growing American economy and I'm excited to continue this discussion as we begin debating the next steps in Washington."

Thankfully, we were able to save a copy here in our archives at www.ALIPAC.us because she has since taken that information away from public view as you can see at this broken link where we found it originally...

There are numerous rumors being reported that Renee Ellmers is having an affair with the notorious illegal alien amnesty supporter, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Regardless of her "private life," Renee Ellmers, has been further documented supporting amnesty for illegals when the House voted to try to stop Obama's Executive Amnesty for illegals in January of 2015!

On January 14, 2015, The Hill Magazine reported that the US House voted 236-191 on an amendment to block funding for President Obama’s immigration orders which are amnesty decrees that are unconstitutional, illegal, and being challenged by 26 states in court! Renee Ellmers, was one of only 10 Republicans to vote with Obama's Democrats against the amendment to defund Obama's amnesty! (click for news source)

Then again on Jan 20, 2015, Breitbart news reported that Renee Ellmers was the first of 26 GOP lawmakers to vote against the Blackburn Amendment to defund Obama’s executive amnesty! It appears that Politico’s communist writer Seung Min Kim was so excited that she tweeted “Ellmers is [the] first GOP no vote.” (click to view article)

In 2014, local GOP activist Frank Roche challenged Renee Ellmers in the GOP primary and made her support for amnesty for illegal aliens a central issue.

Unfortunately, pro Amnesty tycoon Mark Zuckerberg's amnesty support group FWD.us bought massive amounts of commercial time on local radio stations with commercials that falsely proclaimed, "Renee Ellmers opposes amnesty."

Politico's Jessica Myers reported on 7/8/14 that Zuckerberg's amnesty advocacy group spent at least $150,000 backing Renee Ellmers with ads!

Illegal immigration fighter Ron Woodard of NC Listen confronted Congresswoman Renee Ellmers about her support for Amnesty. She exploded and the exchange was caught on video that has gone viral...

Here is Renee Ellmers resorting to more name calling radio show hostess Laura Ingraham
    "small-minded," "ignorant" for opposing amnesty.

It is very disturbing to find Trump endorsing Renee Ellmers, who now claims to support the Obama Illegal policy, yet Trump claims to be against the Obama policy. I am hopeful Mr. Trump is either confused or uninformed because if he is now changing his policy about immigration who can Americans support in 2016? Every day the Obama administration puts another nail in traditional America`s coffin. Obama is determined to make as many "changes" as he can while in DC, which means more problems for a conservative, non Socialist president to undo. Already we have endured two years of Obama`s "Affordable care act" which has proved to be very, very costly for Americans, and hidden taxes and costs continue to be uncovered. Political correctness is killing America. Republican controlled Congress, which Americans elected to stop Obama has done nothing to stop him because of PC. Our elected officials are afraid to appear "racist" because the liberals, who engineered PC have told us through mainstream media that if you oppose Illegals this is so. To refute this look at Europe. Rape, murder and chaos still continues as a result of millions of Muslims allowed to move to Europe by the EU and countries leaders. The majority of citizens reject bringing them to their country, yet are told by their elected "leaders" they should show compassion toward these "refugees" They riot and rape because of "strong alcohol" they use in EU. BS.
Americans must prevent this from happening here, which means stopping Obama and rejecting PC. And Mr. Trump must explain his endorsing a pro Illegal now.

RENEE ELLMERS IMMIGRATION HISTORY LED TO NORTH CAROLINA PRIMARY DEFEAT
    UPDATED:

Wed, JUN 22nd 2016 @10:15 am EDTbyChris Chmielenski

Before the state legislature was ordered by a federal court to redraw North Carolina’s Congressional district boundaries, a long list of primary challengers were lining up against the amnesty-supporting incumbent, Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.). Kay Daly, Jim Duncan, and Frank Roche had all completed the NumbersUSA Immigration-Reduction Survey, were rated as True Reformers, and were ready to challenge Ellmers on her immigration record.

But the newly drawn districts changed that and set up a race between two current Members of Congress — the immigration-expansionist Ellmers and Rep. George Holding who currently represents North Carolina’s 13th Congressional district.

After escaping a primary challenge in 2014, Ellmers’ immigration history finally caught up with her last night as Holding cruised to a 6-point victory making Ellmers the first incumbent to lose a primary challenge in 2016.

Knowing she might be in trouble, Ellmers has been on her best behavior (almost) in 2016, cosponsoring nearly every pro-enforcement bill that we’ve scored on our Immigration Grade Cards. But the damage had already been done.

It all started back in 2013-14 when the Gang of 8 amnesty bill was at the top of nearly everyone’s list.

While Ellmers didn’t come out in full support of the bill, she was identified by the Gang as a potential supporter of the legislation in the House. She also backed the “Immigration Principles” that GOP Leadership presented to the Republican Caucus during a retreat in January of 2014 and showed her support bypenning an op-ed for the Fayetteville Observer in the same month.

In March of 2014 it began to unravel. Ellmers tried to go toe-to-toe with national radio personality Laura Ingraham during an appearance on her national program, but instead called advocates who oppose amnesty and controlled immigration “ignorant”. The comment earned the praise of the pro-amnesty group America's Voice.

.@RepReneeEllmers takes down Laura Ingraham, calls Ingraham out for her "ignorant" stand on immigration http://t.co/JW8Vsfz7IV
    — America's Voice (@AmericasVoice) March 13, 2014

Later that month, she was caught on video berating one of her constituents (and NumbersUSA activist) during a meeting about immigration at one of her district offices.

It had gotten so bad that immigration-expansionist group FWD.us, founded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, come to her rescue in time for the 2014 primaries. The group made a six-figure ad buy in defense of Ellmers’ immigration positions, going as far as to describe her as anti-amnesty despite her own statements.

The FWD.us ad buy may have saved her in 2014, but the group didn’t have her back this spring.
Ellmers’ final undoing may have come early last year when she voted to support funding for Pres. Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesties. In January of 2015, Congress voted on two amendments to the Department of Homeland Security spending bill, H.R. 240, that would have defunded the President’s actions. Ellmers voted against both amendments and was one of only 7 Republicans to vote against Rep. Robert Aderholt’s (R-Ala.) amendment that would have defunded Pres. Obama's most recent DAPA amnesty that granted legal status and work permits to at least 5 million illegal aliens. The vote took place well before the legal challenge to DAPA by Texas and 26 other states really gained traction.

By voting against the Aderholt amendment, Ellmers joined a small group of vocal, amnesty-supporting Republicans, including Reps. Jeff Denham and David Valadao of California and Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart, Carlos Curbelo, and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida. Denham, Ros-Lehtinen, and Valadao cosponsored H.R.15 -- the House version of the Gang of 8 amnesty bill.

But Ellmers’ immigration positions go beyond her support for amnesty. Just last month, she joined 8 of her House colleagues in sending a letter to House Appropriators, urging them to include a permanent expansion of the H-2B low-skilled guest worker program in the FY17 spending bills. Ellmers supported a similar provision in the FY16 Omnibus spending bill, but the expansion is set to expire on Sept. 30 if not renewed by Congress.

Ellmers also voted last summer to give the Obama Administration fast-track status for both the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Trade in Services Agreement. Both free trade agreements would open up huge channels for companies to legally bring in foreign workers to compete with American workers.
There are reasons outside of immigration that led to Holding's defeat of Ellmers last night, but nothing contrasts the two candidates more than the paths they took on the issue since the introduction of the Gang of 8 amnesty bill in early 2013.
