Mollie Tibbetts’ Father: Promote Diversity, not Immigration Enforcement

The father of the murdered Iowa jogger, Mollie Tibbetts, is arguing that the public’s outcry over his daughter’s death is fueled by racism, and should be overpowered by a celebration of “diversity.”

“Do not appropriate Mollie’s soul in advancing views she believed were profoundly racist,” Rob Tibbetts wrote in the Des Moines Register. He continued:

To knowingly foment discord among races is a disgrace to our flag. It incites fear in innocent communities and lends legitimacy to the darkest, most hate-filled corners of the American soul. It is the opposite of leadership. It is the opposite of humanity. It is heartless. It is despicable. It is shameful.

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena-Rivera, a 24-year-old from Mexico, has been charged with first-degree murder in her death.

The case has become a scandal because the suspect migrated into the United States several years ago, then worked at a dairy despite federal laws barring the employment of wage-lowering illegals, regardless of their origin. Mollie Tibbetts would not have been murdered by the suspect if the federal or state governments had enforced the long-standing and popular laws against illegal migration, or if cost-cutting employers had refused to employ the alleged killer instead of Americans.

However, Tibbetts choose to portray the crime in racial terms, saying:

The person who is accused of taking Mollie’s life is no more a reflection of the Hispanic community as white supremacists are of all white people. To suggest otherwise is a lie. Justice in my America is blind.

He wrote:

To the Hispanic community, my family stands with you and offers its heartfelt apology. That you’ve been beset by the circumstances of Mollie’s death is wrong. We treasure the contribution you bring to the American tapestry in all its color and melody. And yes, we love your food.

The broad effort to racialize the economic, civic and legal politics of the Tibbetts murder has been decried by advocates for the even-handed enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.

Tibbetts also used the murder to promote the government-enforced diversity and migration, while completely ignoring the huge impact of cheap-labor migration on Americans and their society:

Instead, let’s turn against racism in all its ugly manifestations both subtle and overt. Let’s turn toward each other with all the compassion we gave Mollie. Let’s listen, not shout. Let’s build bridges, not walls. Let’s celebrate our diversity rather than argue over our differences. I can tell you, when you’ve lost your best friend, differences are petty and meaningless.

Tibbetts is a “marketing principal” at a San Francisco architectural firm.

The New York Times reported on Tibbetts’ letter with a headline saying “Mollie Tibbetts’ Father Ask That Her Death Not Be Exploited to Promote Racism.”

Mollie Tibbetts' father apparently has a liberal, open borders mindset, the kind that has lead to the ongoing problem of illegal immigration. Compare his statements of beliefs to the many Angel parents and families who speak out against illegal immigration. They rightfully understand that their loved ones, who were permanently separated from them, had lives taken by someone here illegally. These crimes, these deaths should not have taken place.

Every law broken, every job taken, every crime committed by someone here illegally was and is preventable if our government would enforce all immigration laws and secure our borders. Talk of open borders is naive in a dangerous world.

The numbers of illegal aliens that our government has allowed to morph into tens of millions means that many more millions of American lives will be impacted and devastated by illegal immigration.

Not only does our government NOT enforce our immigration laws...they reward these criminal trespassers with Birth Certificates, Welfare, Food Stamps, School, Medical Care, Lawyers, Drivers Licenses, IRS Tax Refunds, Jobs and Housing!

It is outrages that we are FORCED to pay for this out of our paychecks!

They contradict our own Federal Laws and these taxpayer funded benefits need to cease immediately! They are in direct conflict with upholding our laws and this needs to stop now.

Stop the Government and our States harboring, aiding, abetting and REWARDING illegal aliens.

Deport the whole family!

No renewal of DACA apps and no renewal of work permits!

They are SELECTIVELY giving a free pass to a group of foreign citizens who have illegally breached our borders! This is discrimination, this is unlawful and this needs to end now.

We have documented many thousands of Americans murdered by illegal aliens here at www.alipac.us, but Rob Tibbetts is the first father or mother of a victim of an illegal immigrant to come out in defense of illegals and illegal immigration.

There is no way for us to know if Rob Tibbetts went after the racism straw man arguement on his own or if a bunch of leftists in Soros groups and the media called him up misrepresenting the true American response to the news Mollie was killed by an illegal. Could be one or both.

Such a shame to see so many Americans programmed and brainwashed to support their own destruction and the murder of their loved ones by illegal alien invaders that our government had a Constitutional, moral, and legal responsibility to stop or remove before they victimize Americans like Mollie Tibbetts.

Rob Tibbetts may not care about the lack of border security and immigration laws that led to his daughter's death, but we do, and most Americans with any sense do as well.
