Portland’s Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler Is A Worm

George Rasley, CHQ Editor | 9/3/20

It is probably an unforgivable insult to worms to place Portland, Oregon’s Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler amongst the Eucestoda, but there isn’t really another creature that comes to mind when I say the words “Ted Wheeler.”

Wheeler is a complete parasite who has managed to destroy the city of Portland by allowing violent Antifa and BLM revolutionaries to takeover the city center and even spread their poison out into residential neighborhoods where no reasonable objects for protest, such as the federal courthouse, exist.

And don’t be suckered by the establishment media narrative that Portland’s problems started with the death of George Floyd – the first riot in Portland happened the day after Donald Trump won the 2016 election – the riots have been going on for almost four years.

William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) summed up the answer to Portland’s street violence problem this way:

The political violence, rioting, arson, & looting in Portland happens because the Democrat Mayor, City Council, & DAs are all in the same political faction as BLM, ANTIFA, and La Raza who represent the street power wing of the Democratic Party. Look in the mirror Wheeler!

For the better part of four years, rather than protect the citizens of the city he was elected to administer Wheeler has hamstrung the police and done his best to prohibit any law enforcement activity in the city center and downtown parks.

Back in July, when the revolutionaries began to escalate their attacks on the federal courthouse with incendiary devices, Wheeler demanded that federal officers leave the city, calling their presence “an unconstitutional occupation,” according to local outlet KATU-TV.

Wheeler’s attempt at becoming a leader of the “resistance” did not earn him any street cred with the revolutionaries trying to burn down Portland.

According to reporting by The New York Post, on July 23, Wheeler went to the scene of the rioting and said, “The tactics that are being used by the federal officers are abhorrent.”

“We didn’t want them [federal officers], we didn’t ask for them, they’re not trained for what they’re being asked to do. And we want them to leave,” Wheeler told the mob.

“The reason I am here tonight is to stand with you,” said Mayor Wheeler. “So, if they’re launching the tear gas against you, they’re launching the tear gas against me.”

Wheeler was duly teargassed in solidarity with the revolution, but when he said, “I stand with you,” Wheeler was jeered by the mob who can smell a weakling a mile away.

No revolutionaries will be cowed by someone who does not support the revolution 100 percent, so the predicable result of Wheeler’s “I stand with you” has been a stream of injured police officers and citizens, destroyed businesses and now finally a murder.

And the day after the murder, Wheeler had the inhumanity to let the revolutionaries have the streets again, with predicable results of arson and destruction, after which he tweeted:
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community.

This is what we’re all supposed to be fighting for. But last night saw more senseless violence in Portland. Another minority-owned, local business was destroyed by a violent group of individuals.
Not one word about who the “violent group of individuals” might be.

And even when the Marxist revolutionaries attacked the condominium building where he and other families live – and tried to set it on fire with the people inside, Wheeler condemned the police, tweeting:

A police officer was filmed repeatedly striking an individual at a protest. Even the building where I live, along with dozens of other families, was violently attacked. These acts range from stupid, to dangerous, to criminal. The violence must stop.

For the record, Andy Ngo, one of the few journalists brave enough to cover Antifa closely and tell the truth about the violent revolutionary group, reported “The violent rioter pulled off the officer’s helmet and was resisting arrest.”

In the end, rather than (finally) step up and rein-in the revolutionary rioters, Ted Wheeler just turned tail and ran.

As Andy Ngo reported via Twitter, “Portland mayor @tedwheeler, who has an Oregon beachfront home, a $1.3m home on the west hills & another property in the San Juan Islands, announces he is looking to move from his NW Portland condo after antifa keep attacking it. #PortlandRiots”

That’s right, after apologizing to his neighbors in the high-rise condo about the activities of the “peaceful protesters” trying to burn down their building, Wheeler announced he was moving. Even after years of coddling left-wing extremists, Ted Wheeler could control Portland’s streets if he had the will, but because he is a spineless worm the riots and revolution in Portland will continue.
