Poll: Majority of Blacks, Hispanics Oppose Illegal Aliens Counted on Census

It's not just white Americans who oppose illegal aliens counted in the Census, three-out-of-five blacks and Hispanics don't want them represented in Congress either.


William Gheen with the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC says the Rasmussen poll conducted over the summer only reinforces what his group has known all along.


“The left is constantly trying to make it a brown versus white type conflict, but it's not,” he says. “Most Americans of all races oppose illegal immigration.”


Rasmussen noted that the poll found opposition to including illegal immigrants comes from 72% of White voters, 67% of Black voters, and 57% of Hispanic voters. Opposition also comes from 88% of conservatives, 68% of moderates, and 51% of liberals.


Gheen says Americans as a whole are tired of paying for services that benefit non-citizens.


“If you actually calculate how much the average taxpayer in Houston, Texas owes for illegal immigration on the city, county, state and federal level, it's astronomical.”


The poll found Hispanic Americans are most convinced by campaign rhetoric that opposes illegal immigration and defunding local police departments.


“They want it stopped. They want the border secured. They don't want illegal immigrants to receive taxpayer benefits,” says Gheen. “When given a choice, two-thirds of Americans prefer that illegal immigrants be sent home as our current laws require.”

Mandatory audit of our schools, healthcare system, welfare, food stamps, disability, HUD housing, and IRS child tax credit refunds.

Terminate all taxpayer funded benefits to illegal aliens now.

Those benefits include the privilege of driving on our roads and those Drivers Licenses need to be deemed Null & Void.

They are allowing illegals to work in our Government offices in California! They need to be prosecuted for this.

Make them self deport. We should not be paying for this or their medical care and childbirth at our hospitals!
