An immigration enforcement activist has been told the Senate confirmation vote for Attorney General-designee Jeff Sessions will be on Wednesday, so he his encouraging people to do a little work leading up to it.

While Democrats have gone out of their way to challenge and delay virtually every one of President Trump's Cabinet nominees, perhaps none have received as much opposition as the Alabama senator who has been labeled a "racist" for opposing illegal immigration.
Sessions' office has told William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC), they expect the full Senate confirmation vote on Wednesday.

"There's a lot of people circulating information and some media out there saying, 'Don't worry; Jeff Sessions is a shoo-in.' And we're telling people not to take that for granted," Gheen comments. "A lot of power groups out there like the National Council of La Raza, America's Voice -- all these pro-illegal immigrant groups have got their people calling the senators, and those senators up there are doing everything they can on the Democrat side to scuttle Jeff Sessions."

But unfortunately, the ALIPAC president is not concerned about the Democrats alone.
"A lot of people like Senator John McCain and Lindsey Graham, they really don't like Sessions, so the votes can't be counted until the vote is taken," he warns. "It's very important that we get as many people as possible calling the U.S. Senate and telling all senators -- Democrat and Republican -- to immediately confirm Jeff Sessions as the next attorney general of the United States."
Gheen believes Sessions' priorities as attorney general would be better security, jobs, and wages for American citizens instead of illegals.
