Activists in Montana and Maryland need our help! A ballot measure stopping illegal aliens from stealing taxpayer resources in Montana could set a new national trend if it passes on election day. A Congress for Amnesty or a Congress for Enforcement?
ALIPAC is the only active national Political Action Committee that is elevating the illegal immigration issue in federal campaigns nationwide. Our friends at NumbersUSA help us track the voting records of incumbents, but ALIPAC is the group that can actively endorse and oppose candidates. While donations to us are not tax deductible, we can say and do what needs to be done to affect the outcome of elections. ALIPAC's endorsement is used by candidates to generate local press on their popular immigration stances and to contact voters directly letting them know they are with the public against illegal immigration. We have over 140 federal candidates endorsed with hundreds of volunteers deployed behind them. More candidate endorsements are on hold and we hope to be able to help them before Election Day. All national organizations must raise funds to function. ALIPAC has functioned on a more streamlined budget than most. While our budget expanded each year up until 2011, last year our funds started decreasing due to the bad economy, Obama's aggressive actions, and perhaps some complacency after our historic wins in the 2010 elections.
We cut over 1/3 of our very limited budget and there is no more room for cuts. We must reach a minimum funds level by the end of October or shutter our operations.
