71+ Rallies In Support of American Police, Veterans, and Border Patrol Aug 29-30

A coalition of organizations including Overpasses for America (O4A) and Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) are announcing a historic effort to rally in support of America's Constitution and our nonmilitarized police officers, veterans, and Border Patrol agents on August 29-30 due to the widespread defamation and abuse of these groups at the hands of biased media and politicians.

This weekend's protests will focus on three prime examples of how police, veterans, and Border Patrol agents are under siege in America with special focus on the plights of Ferguson, MO, officer Darren Wilson, imprisoned veteran Andrew Tahmooressi, and slain Border Patrol agents Brian Terry and Javier Vega Jr.!

More than 71 rallies have quickly formed in the first few days of planning in what is now being dubbed "Operation American Shield." Operation American Shield aspires to conduct rallies in support of all American activists, police officers, veterans, and Border Patrol agents who are trying to defend America and the US Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.

"Much of the national media, politicians in DC and the Obama administration are attacking and defaming citizen activists, our veterans, police, and Border Patrol agents, and doing all they can to stir up animosity towards these groups of American defenders. Anyone who is responsible for truly protecting America is under siege in our own nation, and it is time for us to stand up against this form of tyranny and attacks on our American freedoms and way of life!" said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC.

"Biased actions by media and politicians like Obama are putting our Border Patrol agents, police, veterans, and all Americans at greater risk of violence!"
