Activists needed to stop Obama & Graham Amnesty push!

    Friends of ALIPAC,

A DC publication indicates that the Obama administration, Senators Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Graham, and Congressman Luis Gutierrez plan to proceed with Amnesty legislation next month, which will turn 15 million illegal aliens into voters, if we don't stop them.

President Obama called Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) from Air Force One yesterday, to ask Brown to support the Comprehensive Amnesty bill. He likely did this because of Brown's close association with John McCain, who is working to push Amnesty from behind the scenes, while making extra efforts to appear strong on border security, after recent polls show JD Hayworth within only FIVE percent points of defeating him.

Please take steps now to reinforce Scott Brown's opposition to Amnesty. ALIPAC endorsed and financially supported Scott Brown, as did many of you because he pledged to oppose any form of Amnesty during his campaign.

As you can read for yourself in this article, Scott Brown did not say "No" to Obama's call for Brown to support Amnesty and Brown did indicate a willingness to consider it.

Sample Message: I am calling/writing to ask Senator Scott Brown to stop negotiating with President Obama about Comprehensive Amnesty and to honor his pledge he made to oppose Amnesty during the campaign. Please tell Scott Brown I supported him because he claimed he opposed Comprehensive Amnesty and I want him to clearly state that he opposes Obama, Schumer, and Graham's amnesty plans. Tell Scott Brown to tell Obama "NO" on Comprehensive Amnesty!"

You should call Brown's office with your own distinct message and follow up with your own message in writing via e-mail, fax, or letter. Remember that our methods of sending a distinct personalized message by phone and in writing are the most effective ways to have an impact.

    ----

We also need your help down in Arizona, where our brave friends have fought hard to pass SB 1070 which is the toughest state level immigration legislation in the nation. SB 1070 empowers local and state police to enforce immigration laws, which are supported by over 81% of Americans according to a Zogby poll conducted in April, 2005.

Congressman Luis Gutierrez, leader of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus is demanding that Obama call Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to ask her to veto SB 1070!

Please take action now to encourage Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to sign the bill into law as soon as possible before the deadline expires and the bill dies.

    Contact Governor Brewer at...

Call and then write here your own distinct message.

    Sample Message

"I am calling/writing to ask Governor Brewer to immediately sign SB 1070 into law to allow Arizona police to do more to protect American jobs, wages, property, health, and lives by taking dangerous illegal aliens off our streets. Over 80% of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws, according to numerous polls. Please let our state political systems work correctly by signing that bill and telling the amnesty supporting Open Borders crowd in AZ and DC that the people of Arizona have spoken and that you will sign SB 1070."

Let's get those phone lines in Scott Brown and Jan Brewer's offices ringing off the hook this week by starting right now! Let's get those calls followed by a flood of written messages!

Let's hold these politicians accountable to We The People of America!

Here is what I am sending out, first to Sen. Brown:

    Dear Sen.

With Democrat leaders once again striving to bring a so-called immigration bill up before Congress I think it is important to remember certain things that affect this all-important issue.

    1. The Administration has FAILED in its promise to first secure our borders. Statements by the Department of Homeland Security earlier this year revealed that the electronic surveillance measure were several years away from operability. Other areas of immigration enforcement have been fiscally reduced.

    2. Lax immigration policies have proved so disastrous that the public in states like Arizona and California have approved of local measures to curb illegal immigration. Voters are only trying to bring their state policies in line with federal law---and a reversal of our federal law would completely upset the will of the people in these states.

    3. Drug traffickers, human smugglers, document forgers and even drug cartel criminals continue to make their way over the US border. An amnesty of illegal aliens, which is only playing upon the compassionate nature of Americans, will certainly sent out a WELCOME signal to other law-less types to come here.

    4. A previous amnesty in 1986 was supposed to be the end-all of illegal immigration. It had just the opposite effect.

    5. Amnestied aliens would, after a time, be legally allowed to sponsor their relatives to move here. Our entitlements system is already overburdened with far too many people who have not contributed to the US economy through employment, yet are being supported with US taxpayers. The US is projected to have 16 million foreign born SSI recipients by 2050 ---usually disabled or elderly and most never even having worked in this country.

Senator, we know these people are not stupid and that they will seek out loopholes to benefit themselves. A fair number of them have already committed fraud to obtain certain financial benefits. Any amnesty legislation would certainly be open to more fraud---and it would be nearly impossible to distinguish new arrivals seeking to qualify from those intended to be covered.

Despite what pressures you may encounter please do not surrender to this very ill conceived move to amnesty illegal aliens.

    Yours truly,

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Have already called the office of the governor of Arizona. We must keep contacting these politicians.

Contacting Sen. Brown and more left the below message and sent the following email:

I remember a few months ago you were interviewed on a local Houston radio station, 700 AM, and at that time you insured the commentator that you opposed Amnesty for the ILLEGALS, do not now take the Political convenient way out and support Amnesty pressured by the President and other Pro-ILLEGAL Elitist Politicians!

I hope that Senator Brown will not seriously sponsor a Blanket Amnesty, no matter how it is defined by President Obama, Senators Schumer and Graham, or any other Pro-ILLEGAL politician, and not to continue to listen to the so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform (Amnesty) but instead honor his pledge he made to oppose Amnesty during the campaign.

Enforcing our Immigration Laws and Securing our National Borders are not partisan, divisive, or polarizing issues! Polls indicate that the vast majority of U. S. Citizens (78%) want our current Immigration Laws Enforced and our National Borders Secured. Politicians without their own or their Elitist Political Contributor’s self serving agenda support their citizens and not their Elitist Political Contributors.

Turning the United States into just another Third World Country by encouraging more ILLEGALS by offering Blanket Amnesty will not attract the best. I'm afraid that some of OUR Elitist Politicians and their Elitist Political Contributors will not be happy until they transform the United States into a Third World Country for most of our citizens while furnishing the Chamber of Commerce and all their Elitist Special Interest Groups with their supply of CHEAP LABOR.

Contacted the Governor with the following:

Please Governor Brewer quickly sign SB 1070 into law to allow Arizona police to do more to protect Arizona and United States Citizens jobs, wages, property, health, and lives by taking dangerous ILLEGALS off our streets. Over 80% of United States Citizens support local police enforcing immigration laws, according to numerous polls. Please let the state Arizona’s political systems work correctly by signing that bill and telling the amnesty supporting Open Borders crowd in Arizona and the United States that the people of Arizona have spoken and that you will sign SB 1070.

Even though I realize initially SB 1070 will place an additional burden on the rest of the States as the ILLEGALS leave Arizona and deplete even more of the resources of these states, the remaining state’s legislators will hopefully be forced to implement laws the same as SB 1070 to protect their CITIZENS.

You can not wait for the Federal Government to take ACTION, the struggle against ILLEGALS will have to be fought at the State and Local level if and until the Federal Government decides to Secure our Borders and Enforce our Immigration Laws!

I hope you can get the ball rolling at the State level and lead the way to immigration sanity for the other Governors and Save our Nation from the Elitist Politicians and their Special Interest Groups!

    Senator Brown and Governor Brewer

I emailed Senator Brown and told him my objections to Amnesty and reminded him that many of us supported him because he said he would say No to amnesty.

I emailed Governor Brewer and asked her to sign SB 1070. Here in Phoenix they are calling the bill a reason for racial profiling. I pointed out that when I went to high school, we had to apply for our social security cards and driver's licenses and we were taught to carry them as ID ALL the time to prove who we are. Today in Arizona I am required to carry my Driver's License or an approved State ID card to prove who I am and if I have neither, then I should carry a copy of my Birth Certificate for ID purposes. I am an American with several nationalities running through my veins and I was born that way in America many, many, many moons ago.

If I were to travel to any other country then I must carry a LEGAL Passport with me. Why should America require anything less?

Have Great Day and thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion,
    Scrapperjo

Thank you scrapperjo, and thank you especially for outlining the documents that Americans need, and the excuses that illegal alien amnesty supporters use.
