How far will Mexico go?

A billboard, owned by Clear Channel Communications located along the 605 in Los Angeles, came to our attention today courtesy of a California friend.

The billboard advertises a local Spanish news television station which
seems quite incidental except for the headline which reads "Los Angeles,
Mexico" ... CA has been x'd through with a big red X.

Are we now in Los Angeles, Mexico?

What is the American public to think of such a thing as this?

This is blatant, in your face and offensive!
