ALIPAC Applauds Trump Pardon for Sheriff Joe Arpaio: Condemns McCain & Flake

The national organization Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is commending President Trump for pardoning Sheriff Joe Arpaio and thanking supporters and activists who have worked hard to lobby Trump to pardon and hire Arpaio since January of 2017.

Many ALIPAC activists could be seen celebrating the announcement online (Here) when the news broke around 8pm ET last night! While encouraged by the pardon, many ALIPAC activists feel that a pardon alone is insufficient and that Sheriff Joe should be further exonerated by President Trump appointing him to oversee and assist the securing of America's borders.

Next week, ALIPAC plans to renew and intensify public pressure campaigns to get Trump to end his support for the unconstitutional DACA Amnesty orders that give illegal aliens Amnesty, work permits, and access to taxpayer benefits.

ALIPAC opposes incumbent U.S. Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake, both of whom support Amnesty for illegal aliens and publicly condemned Trump's move. McCain tweeted, "@POTUS's pardon of Joe Arpaio, who illegally profiled Latinos, undermines his claim for the respect of rule of law," and Senator Flake said, "Regarding the Arpaio pardon, I would have preferred that the President honor the judicial process and let it take its course."

"Senators McCain and Flake oppose Arpaio and Trump because both of them support Amnesty, voting rights and jobs for illegal aliens, and unsecured open borders that kill many Americans and will eventually give Democrats permanent control of U.S. elections," declared William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. "We commend President Trump for pardoning Arpaio, but wish he had done it sooner and wish he would go the extra mile and send a clear message around the world that he is very serious about securing our borders by appointing Sheriff Joe to a new position overseeing our entire southern border! We need Joe Arpaio unencumbered by the Obama administration's efforts to menace him with legal witch hunts and focused back on the fight to save America from being completely overrun by illegal immigration."

Senator Jeff Flake is up for reelection in 2018 and ALIPAC has endorsed his GOP primary challenger Dr. Kelli Ward. Both Flake and McCain were notorious sponsors of the Gang of Eight's Amnesty legislation of 2013 that was stopped by conservatives in the House and activism groups like ALIPAC.

ALIPAC activists have been busy working to help consolidate national support behind Kelli Ward's campaign in the interest creating another "Eric Cantor example" out of Jeff Flake! A recent AZ Highground Public Affairs poll found Flake trailing Ward by 14 points among likely GOP primary voters.

Kelli Ward's challenge against Senator Jeff Flake recently received a big boost by the endorsement of Dr. Laura Ingraham, followed by the endorsement of Sean Hannity, and a very favorable Tweet from Trump!

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC feels it is time for Americans to unify and successfully throw pro-Amnesty politicians like John McCain and Jeff Flake out of office while supporting those who stand against illegal immigration and Amnesty like Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
