With the nation's focus finally on the Fast and Furious Gunwalker scandal since the 112th Congress Oversight Committee is considering contempt charges against Obama's Department of Justice head Eric Holder today, ALIPAC is releasing information proving that the White House was involved in the scandal.

ALIPAC is the world's largest archive of information about illegal immigration, border security, immigration related legislation, the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, and the Fast and Furious Gunwalker scandal. ALIPAC's archives are being accessed daily by global media and congressional staff.

"We fully believe that the White House and Barack Obama were aware of, supportive of, and conducted the Fast and Furious operations which used taxpayer money to purchase and deliver assault weapons into the hands of murderous drug and illegal immigrant smuggling cartels," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "The reports indicate that White House officials were directly advised about the Fast and Furious operations and that several Executive Branch organizations, including ATF, DOJ, DHS, and the FBI, were coordinated together to conduct Fast and Furious suggesting that only the White House could have organized this betrayal of Americans."

ALIPAC believes that today's threat by the White House to invoke "Executive Privilege" to prevent important records from being shared with congressional investigators is further evidence that Barack Obama was involved with Fast and Furious and could lead to future impeachment charges or prosecution for high crimes.

ALIPAC is calling on Congress to hold Eric Holder in contempt and to escalate the investigation to include Impeachment and possible criminal charges against Barack Obama. Tomorrow, ALIPAC is relaunching the Impeach Obama website at Call for the Resignation or Impeachment of President Barack Obama!

Here are the the findings that suggest Barack Obama and the White House are involved in Fast and Furious.

-- Obama is claiming they will invoke Executive Privilege which is usually reserved only for matters that the president is involved with directly.

-- Reports and documents show several Executive Branch agencies working in harmony with Fast and Furious, including the ATF, DEA, DOJ, DHS, and FBI which would certainly imply coordination and authorization from the White House. This is not an example of one rogue agency, Fast and Furious involved at least 5 federal agencies working together under the Obama administration's watch and control.

-- CBS News reported on September 2, 2011 that emails CBS obtained indicate three White House officials were briefed on gun trafficking efforts that included Fast and Furious. The officials are Kevin O'Reilly, then-director of North American Affairs, now assigned to the State Department; Dan Restrepo, senior Latin American advisory; and Greg Gatjanis, a national security official. CBS also indicates there were phone conversations between Fast and Furious operatives and these contacts. It is unlikely that at least 3 of Barack Obama's top advisers would be advised on Fast and Furious, and not Obama. These emails are strong evidence that the White House knew about Fast and Furious.

-- The Los Angeles Times reported on July 17, 2011 that "Congressional investigators probing the controversial "Fast and Furious" anti-gun-trafficking operation on the border with Mexico believe at least six Mexican drug cartel figures involved in gun smuggling, were also paid FBI informants".
