Please help me. The Senate has just appointed conferee members to negotiate with House members on the fate of HB 36.

Please follow me in and focus calls and emails on these four Senators!

Sample Message: (draft your own version with changes)

"Senator ________ Please restore the provisions in HB 36 that require all employers with more than 24 employees in NC to begin using the free and accurate E-verify system. We need every job we can get for legal immigrants and American citizens. A lot of people are very upset to hear that GOP Senators removed this provision on behalf of big business special interests despite the fact over 80% of our citizens support businesses being required to check new hires and only hire legal labor. Please stand up for your constituents tonight and return HB 36 to version 4 with the language affecting all large companies in it. Please support Representatives Cleveland and Harry Warren on this matter."

Yes, in session but not necessarily on the floor. They are working late into the night trying to rap things up and finish for the year. If this bill is not fixed tonight, the entire thing may die.

Called Harry Brown's office... Got a recording,left a message for them In effect saying that we are watching this closely to see If they Intend to cave In and back Illegal aliens Instead of the American citizens that elected them... TS

We need EVERY JOB that we can get for AMERICAN CITIZENS and LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. There are MANY people like me In the Republican party and the Tea Party that are watching what happens here very closely. You are treading on thin Ice If you go against the will of the American People on this Issue. The Supreme court just weighed In on this,and for some reason you feel the need to disagree with what they just said. Big business and assorted special interest groups have been feeding from the Illegal trough for far too long. It's time for a change, and It will be time to change our votes If you continue to pander to the business lobby,and thumb your nose at your constituents.
