William Gheen has served as the central leader responsible for leading a coalition of anti-illegal immigration groups in support of the Tea Parties in 2009 including Tea Parties Against Amnesty held in 53 cities on November 14, 2009.
Mr. Gheen has been a frequent guest on Fox News (including an appearance on Oreilly), CNN, CBS, as well as hundreds of talk radio shows. Quoted often in the New York and LA Times as well as the Boston Globe, Gheen serves as the President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) which is one of America's largest national organization's fighting against illegal immigration in a peaceful, civic minded, political way.
After viewing the Oreilly interview with Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center broadcast on the evening of Feb. 18, 2009, William Gheen is requesting air time with Oreilly to rebut the false accusations of Mark Potok regarding the immigration enforcement groups participating in Tea Party events.
"We have documented the Southern Poverty Law Center publicizing blatantly false information on a regular basis regarding immigration enforcement organizations and citizens that are concerned about illegal immigration," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "This latest attack on the Tea Parties is the same kind of smear campaign alleging racism and violence among peaceful Americans engaging in the political process."
On March 26, 2009 ALIPAC is issued a national advisory to all local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies and officers, along with all DHS Fusion Centers, a warning against any reliance upon faulty and politicized research issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Anti Defamation League (ADL). The advisory was issued after DHS instructed American police officers to be on guard against political conservatives.
Prior to the emergence of the Tea Party Movement, the Southern Poverty Lie Center focused their ire on the immigration enforcement movement which includes Minuteman Groups, Washington DC based groups, state and regional groups, and activists groups like ALIPAC.
"The vast majority of American citizens and the vast majority of Tea Party protesters want our existing border and immigration laws enforced," said William Gheen. "Mark Potok and the Southern Poverty Law Center fight the KKK and Neo Nazi's one minute and then turn around and attack peaceful and multi-racial organizations and individuals that oppose illegal immigration the next minute."
William Gheen feels that Mark Potok and the Southern Poverty Law Center should not be allowed to broadcast such statements about illegal immigration groups within the Tea Party movement without rebuttal from the main leader and organization being smeared by Potok's misinformation campaign.
"We are asking Bill Oreilly and Fox News for a few minutes of time to rebut Mark Potok and point out that Americans and Tea Party attendees that want illegal immigration stopped are not potential Tim McVeigh's as the SPLC and the Department of Homeland Security would have people believe." said William Gheen.
If Fox News is willing to allow William Gheen to answer the false, derogatory, and politically calculated accusations of Mark Potok, please contact us to schedule an interview.

I was disgusted by the Fox interview. The SPLC made blatantly false statements. Seems they are trying to lump ALIPAC and other peaceful groups in with potentially threatening militias. I was also disgusted at how they characterized Oath Keepers. Let's see what O'Reilly pulls out of his hat tonight.
