Friends of ALIPAC,

In another display of the power of American citizens working through groups like ALIPAC and our allied organizations, it appears we have stopped the Mexican trucks!

The US Senate has voted to pull funding for the pilot program due to public pressure on this matter.

We owe a great deal of thanks to the thousands of you that responded to our e-mail alert calls for action last week! Special thanks to Chris Simcox of MCDC for working to set up the protest at the Nogales Crossing in AZ on Sunday.

Each of you that made calls, sent faxes, e-mails, and letters helped make this happen.

Please share this information with others to show that fighting back can work!

We are being heard. Are they finally starting to listen?

The only problem with Menendez and Lautenberg voting yea is they must be giving on this one and then they will HIT HARD on passing the Dream Act The Hope Act and the La Raza funding act. That's disturbing but not unexpected.
