    ALIPAC's Letter to NC Lawmakers

    Honorable NC Lawmakers:

As Washington continues to fail the American public by refusing to enforce our existing immigration laws and securing the borders, more states are taking action to protect American lives, property, security, taxpayer resources, wages, and jobs from illegal immigration.

Year after year, North Carolina has fallen behind and in many cases encouraged illegal immigration into America and our state due to the actions and inaction of state lawmakers.

Over 80% of your constituents of every race and political party want states to crack down on illegal immigration, and according to numerous polls, that is why more than 35 states have taken some steps to control illegal immigration.

I would like each of you to consider sponsoring legislation similar to the strong Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement legislation passed in Georgia, Arizona, Oklahoma, and South Carolina in the last few years. These bills have been refined by lawmakers and tested in the courts and found to be both Constitutional and popularly supported.

We need you to take immediate action in 2010 to stop illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer benefits and resources, stop state contractors and all businesses from hiring illegal aliens, empower our state and local police to enforce immigration laws which saves American lives, and to remove taxpayer funding for pro-amnesty and pro-illegal immigration groups like El Pueblo, which is a front group for La Raza "The Race." Our taxpayers are tired of racist groups like El Pueblo collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars of our tax monies each year, while lobbying state lawmakers for amnesty and benefits for illegal aliens.

I am including copies of the Arizona and Oklahoma laws found at these two links.

Please send copies of these over to the Bill Drafting department and prepare to submit these here in North Carolina, with as many co-sponsors as possible.

You will find wide public support for your actions on this matter.

Our ALIPAC activists are working hard right now to get this legislation submitted and passed in every state possible in 2010. We cannot continue to wait for Washington to act and it is incumbent upon our states to protect our citizens when D.C. fails us so dramatically.

Please feel free to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you or your staff.

    Sincerely,

Outstanding letter,William, and one that I think would be appropriate for all 50 states who haven't already passed such legislation.
