American activists are fighting to stop illegal immigration supporting politicians in Maryland, Tennessee, and California from using their positions of power and taxpayer resources to pass state laws that aid and abet illegal aliens.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's (ALIPAC) activists are engaging Maryland state Senate lawmakers to oppose the sanctuary state bill called "The Maryland Law Enforcement and Trust Act" or SB 835 because this bill would protect illegal aliens that commit further crimes and allow them to avoid deportation. American resistance to the Maryland amnesty legislation has become very heated in reaction to police charges that Montgomery County illegal aliens have gang raped 14 and 12-year-old girls in separate incidents in the last year.

In Tennessee, Governor Bill Haslam and members of the Tennessee Legislature are trying to pass an in-state tuition for illegal aliens bill called SB 1014 or the "Gardenhire/White Bill." SB 1014 would force American taxpayers to pay an additional $12,000 to $15,000 for each illegal alien that would displace and replace American students in limited college seats each year. JWP Civitas polling in North Carolina found in 2004 that 81% of voters are less likely to vote for any lawmaker that supports in-state tuition subsidies for illegal immigrants. ALIPAC activists have played a strong role in defeating similar in-state tuition for illegals bills in more than 20 states since 2004 by accurately warning the public via the internet and talk radio shows. ALIPAC activists hope to defeat in-state tuition for illegals once again even though SB 1014 is likely to pass unless the public in Tennessee learns what this bill is really about and quickly demand their lawmakers stop before more American students and taxpayers are harmed.

In California, the state Senate just passed a statewide sanctuary for illegal aliens bill (SB 54) similar to Maryland's legislation. ALIPAC activists are being asked to call and write California state House lawmakers to express their opposition to SB 54 which would shield illegal alien felons from deportation despite charges and convictions for rape, drug dealing, identity theft, voter fraud, assault with a deadly weapon, etc... If ALIPAC activists are unsuccessful lobbying the California house of representatives to stop this dangerous bill, a public referendum will be launched by Republican state Senator Jeff Stone to overturn the law.

"We are doing all we can to mobilize our activists to get on the phones to warn the public and lawmakers about these bills in Tennessee, Maryland, and California that will only attract more illegal immigration into America and cost Americans more in taxes, lost jobs, elections fraud, and lives," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "If these lawmakers hear from enough people from across America they may back down from their plans to represent and support illegal immigrants and return to their oaths to represent the American people instead of foreign invaders and their children who are being used as political shields and levers."

William Gheen of ALIPAC is reaching out to talk radio show hosts in Tennessee, Maryland, and California to take to the airwaves to warn US citizens about these dangerous and destructive state bills and to ask people to join e-mail alerts at www.ALIPAC.us to assist with the lobbying and activism efforts to stop and reverse illegal immigration and amnesty in America.
