NC: Cut Illegal Immigration Instead of Education and Healthc

NC: Cut Illegal Immigration Instead of Education and Health care

North Carolina lawmakers are aiming to make billions of dollars in cuts to the state budget which will have a dramatic impact on many North Carolina citizens including teachers, health care professionals, and state workers instead of stopping spending of over 1 Billion dollars per year on illegal immigrants.

"How many state workers, teachers, students, and health care recipients could the 1 to 1.3 Billion the illegals are taking in NC taxes each year help?" asks William Gheen. "Why does the Democratic leadership in Raleigh refuse to follow the example of so many other states that are protecting limited tax dollars from illegal immigrants?"

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC estimated in 2005 that over 1 Billion dollars of the annual NC state budget and taxes were being utilized by NC's 300-600 thousand illegal aliens.

ALIPAC's estimate was reinforced on January 13, 2009, when FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) estimated that North Carolina was spending approximately 1.3 Billion per year in state taxes on illegal aliens, including 1.2 Billion dollars sent out of the NC economy in the form of remittances.

"Over thirty states have enacted significant immigration enforcement measures with comprehensive enforcement legislation passed in places like Georgia, Arizona, South Carolina, and Oklahoma." said William Gheen. "These states report gradual, humane, and significant declines in their illegal alien populations. North Carolina needs to follow their example. Those state's are no longer paying billions in taxes for illegals."

Illegal immigrants rapidly leave states and local jurisdictions where local and state governments enact crackdown measures according to multiple news reports, local officials, and think tank studies. Illegal aliens are reportedly leaving several counties in North Carolina due to the 287(g) program according to news reports.

North Carolina remains an attractive destination for illegal aliens due to the absence of any significant preventative state laws.

Popular immigration enforcement state laws are offered year-after-year by Republican lawmakers in Raleigh only to be killed without debate in committee each year by the current Democratic leadership.

"NC Lawmakers need to be discussing what to do about the over 1 Billion dollars of our state taxes going to illegal aliens before continuing with these dramatic cuts which will hurt NC workers, state employees, and legal citizens and immigrants." said Gheen.

The Feds are just as bad. Look at cigarette taxes.

The SCHIPPS bill just sticks in my back like a claw.

Why would they vote to pay for IMMIGRANTS, LEGAL IMMIGRANTS to give birth is just beyond wrapping my brain around.

I could think of other PEOPLE like our own first to spend the money on.

I'm so disgusted with OBAM I COULD just spit.

Done will try to get others on board, too

(Sent Email to my elected officals)
    Dear Rep.,

I am shocked that no one is talking about over One Billion Tax Payer Dollars going to Illegal Aliens in North Carolina. North Carolina is having to cut jobs and it's budget. The One Billion for the Illegal Aliens must be cut first.

By our state officials overlooking the growing problem of immigration for many years we are facing an invasion of illegal aliens into NC. North Carolina Citizen-Voter-Workers have been displaced by illegal aliens or immigrants illegally.

Currently, the State's Employment Security Commission only E-Verifies Migrate Farm Workers. Why doesn't the ESC E-Verify all Immigrants and their I-9s?

I am super disappointed with the news of illegal aliens getting preferred treatment over North Carolina Citizens. So I am asking for your support against the spending of money toward illegal aliens or immigrants in our state.

Please put our North Carolina Displaced Worker First!

    Sincerely concerned,
