Thread: Do you feel Trump Giving Amnesty to Millions of illegal aliens is a bad chess move?

So many Trump supporters are desperate to believe anything other than the fact Trump has already broken his most important campaign promises on immigration that they theorize Trump just pretended to betray his base on Amnesty to dupe the Democrats!

It is so sad to see so many people unwilling to come to terms with the truth, yet my heart goes out to them because I know how trapped and hopeless they will feel if they accept the bitter truth. I don't like it either, and I wish Trump had kept his word.

But he hasn't and now it is time for American realists and Constitutionalists to fight this new Amnesty threat and battle!

Part of me wants to speak to them calmly and professionally and give them the information they need to come to the understanding so many of us Trump supporters have reached on this overt betrayal.

Another part of me wants to grab their shoulders and shake them and say "For God's sake snap out of it! We need you to pull yourself together and get on the ready line with other patriots who are fighting to stop Trump's Amnesty!"

A common denominator to many of these "Trump didn't lie to us" theories is that much of the adoration of Trump is bordering on blind worship. Another common denominator is all these excuses sweep the Amnesty problem away and requires no action from the person with the theory because Trump isn't really doing this, he is just playing games with Democrats... poker, cards, or chess!

No need to be alarmed you see. It is all just one big fake news misunderstanding. And after all, Americans have been lied to by so many groups and media outlets can we blame them for not knowing the truth when they see or hear it?

President Trump has too many swamp creatures and amnesty shills (Marc Short, legislative aide, John Kelly, Chief of Staff, Kirstjen Nielsen, DHS Secretary, multiple others) speaking for the administration, overseeing immigration talks and legislation for this to be a game that only President Trump is so brilliant to understand. It has been a continual betrayal that began day when he broke his promise to end DACA, all unconstitutional amnesties. The President has sadly lied to the American people. Then there is the video interview with Chuck Todd of MSNBC, where he said "They have to go back" (all of them).

Blind trust in this case is dangerous and something we will all regret if amnesty is successful. The American people need to bombard the White House with calls, emails, faxes, letters, and use social media alerts to say no compromise, enforce our laws, keep your promise President Trump.

With the White House plan for amnesty, it is an ongoing "forever amnesty," with millions of in the pipeline and chain migration to go forward for years. 50,000 Visa lottery winners just switch to another visa category. It is basically everyone welcome, hurry on in, amnesty awaits you. The fraud will be rampant.

There are other immigration bills that may go forward. One was talked about today.

Even those who believe President Trump should be trusted on what he is doing, thinking the plan is good or believing it would fail, if you are against illegal immigration and have fought against it, speak out. Congress, the Senate and the House can pass amnesty legislation without any input from the White House. You best contact your representatives to reject amnesty.

I'm sure there were some of us that knew this was always a possibility but hoped we were wrong. There was a reason I supported Cruz during the primaries. I'm not saying Cruz wouldn't have broke his promises, but I was much more comfortable with his consistency on immigration.

While Trump's campaign messaging was very inconsistent on the immigration issue, the real eye-opening kicker came when he immediately broke his promise to end DACA when he moved into the White House. When that happened I immediately suspected we were in for a rough ride but continued to hope for the best.

I know there was one or more ALIPAC members that thought Trump could do no wrong, but if we've learned anything over the years it's not to fully trust anyone on immigration.
