Article with details about ALIPAC

Supporters of ALIPAC:

The Raleigh News & Observer contained an article in today's Sunday edition you may find of interest. It details some of the reasons that I became involved in this movement to secure our nation.

Some of our supporters have pointed out that the author uses the term "he says" when printing the facts I have provided. In other articles that are supportive of illegal aliens this is not the case. One volunteer pointed out that my titled was listed as "the paid president of the organization" while the others quoted on behalf of the illegals had no indication of their pay.

Most of the pro illegal alien sources in this series of articles are paid salaries much larger than mine. I worked my first year for ALIPAC on a completely volunteer basis. Then I made $500 per month for six months and for the last three months I have received $1,000 per month. I have set aside my employment with the General Assembly and all of my campaign consulting business to focus exclusively on ALIPAC. All of our other officers are still on a volunteer basis. It is my hope that I can increase my salary to a level that will allow me to continue doing this and bring up paid positions for others as their efforts with ALIPAC are what makes us a success.

Now I would like each of you to know, that my eyes are not usually puffy and squinted shut. The photo they chose is one of me staring straight into the sun. Their photographer took many other pictures where my eyes were open.

The Raleigh News & Observer is considered pro amnesty and pro illegal, so these problems are expected. Overall, I thought it was an OK piece and we have already picked up at least 5 new supporters.
