TODAY's ALERT! IMMEDIATE ACTION NEEDED!

The loudest issue in NC this year was the fight over HB 1183 "in-state tuition for illegal aliens". This bill would have allowed illegal aliens to take limited seats in our 4 year universities from Americans at taxpayer expense / subsidy. Thanks to mass opposition (over 80% of NC's Legal Citizens) and the efforts of ALIPAC this bill failed to pass this year.

However, the Democrats that control the NC House and Senate stonewalled every single immigration reform bill this year. Bills that would have secured our tax monies, voter registration, and licenses were all killed by the Democrats.

Now, something even more sinister has happened and WE NEED YOUR HELP IMMEDIATELY!

Several GOP lawmakers discovered that the Democrats had already changed the law behind the backs of the public to allow illegal aliens to attend NC community colleges at the taxpayer subsidized in-state tuition rate.

Senator Neal Hunt offered an amendment to the budget bill to require all college students to be legally present in the US before applying for the in-state tuition rate.

The DEMOCRATS called a recess and huddled on the Senate floor. They returned to their seats and every single seated Senator voted YEA to Senator Hunt's amendment thus assuring that illegal aliens do not get in-state tuition.

Well, the House and Senate versions of the budget went behind closed doors with members of each body called "conferees" meeting to work out the differences between the two bills.

Guess what? The Democrats pulled out section 8.13 in the Senate budget which was Senator Hunt's amendment they had all voted for earlier to deceive the public. A vote for the budget bill today or tomorrow is a vote to clear the way for illegals to attend college at in-state tuition rates!

TAKE ACTION TODAY!

We need everyone we can get on the phones tonight and in the morning to any talk radio format shows around NC warning the public about what the Democrats have done. We need calls to your local newspapers demanding that they print the truth about what the Democrats have done. We need you on the phones early in the morning calling every local AM and FM station asking to get on the air to tell everyone to call the General ASSEMBLY!

Call and e-mail the NC General Assembly and tell them DO NOT PASS THE BUDGET TILL YOU PUT SENATOR HUNT's AMENDMENT SECTION 8.13 BACK IN. A YEA VOTE ON THE BUDGET IS A VOTE FOR IN-STATE TUITION FOR ILLEGALS!

The lawmakers are aware that 4 out of 5 citizens oppose in-state tuition for illegal aliens. They are trying to sneak them in the door. Unfortunately, they can count on a lot of the print media in our state to never tell the public about what they have done.

I just left messages through WPTF with their General Manager, News Director, Kevin Miller (he's on first thing in the morning) and Rush Limbaugh.

I'll personally be calling many of the talk stations starting at 7am. Lord help me, Im not a morning person.

I'll do all I can to stir things up on the air waves. I will be in the building around 9am and ya'll are on your own from there.

I was only able to get on the Marty and Dick Show in Wilmington this morning. I hope others can get on the air on the other stations.

Also, if anyone has the time a message about this should be posted on the NC web forums linkin in to our efforts here. That would be a great way to get the word out. Im out the door! Good luck everyone!
