While many groups, pundits, and lawmakers said DACA Amnesty for illegals would be passed in 2017, ALIPAC fought back and has won the battle to defeat legislative Amnesty in 2017! Yet, de facto Amnesty remains, and more than 12 million illegal immigrants freely roam the United States with little or no real fear of American laws or law enforcement. Even Obama's DACA Amnesty remains in effect, continued through March of 2018 by President Trump!
Support for Amnesty for illegals is what cost Rep. Eric Cantor his seat in Congress and ALIPAC hopes to dethrone many other Amnesty backing Republicans in the 2018 GOP primaries! Now, ALIPAC is out to endorse and support GOP primary challengers running against Republican incuments named on Kate's List.
Before lawmakers left DC last night pushing DACA Amnesty considerations back to January and illegals left the capital in defeat, ALIPAC activists were hard at work confronting congressional offices on the phone and rallying support for GOP primary challengers emerging against targets on Kate's List.
"We were told by many that we could not stop DACA Amnesty from passing in 2017. We were told it was a 'done deal,' yet once again we have defeated legislative Amnesty as we have done many times since 20014," declared William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "Now our focus moves fully to the 2018 primaries where we must have a large number of quality candidates running against the Republican incumbents who are backing Amnesty for illegal aliens instead of focusing on protecting the lives of Americans like Kate Steinle who are killed by the thousands each year that our immigration laws go unenforced and sabotaged by special interests in DC. Republican incumbents will be very reluctant to vote on any DACA Amnesty legislation during the primary filing period in Jan-Feb 2018!"
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC played a key role in defeating Amnesty bills in Washington in 2006, 2007, 2010, 2013-15, and now again in 2017! The organization has also defeated driver licenses and in-state tuition for illegal immigrant bills in more than 25 states in the last 13 years!
Recently, ALIPAC endorsed the GOP primary challenger campaigns of Joe Billie, Mary Jones, and Shak Hill, who are running against pro-Amnesty Republicans.
More endorsements will follow right after New Year's!
