Thread: Good News for ALIPAC Supporters & Opponents of AMNESTY!

Supporters of ALIPAC:

While we realize that many of you worked very hard and are very disappointed by the 69 US Senators that sided with the US Chamber of Commerce and racist organizations like La Raza and MECHA against 80% of America's legal citizens, we have some truly good news to report.

One, we won a victory by pushing back the time line on this bill. Keep in mind that we lost in the Senate in 2006 when they passed a similar amnesty bill, but we won in the house where we blocked it. Our insiders tell us that before many of the Senators would honor their previous back room deals to vote YES for Cloture on S. 1348, they demanded more time to debate and analyze this bill because of YOUR EFFORTS.

In effect, the massive wave of calls, e-mails, and faxes you bombarded their offices with were dominating by 2 to 1 in some offices and by factors of 20 to 1 in others! This gave many of the Senators a case of 'Cold Feet'.

The extended time line favors our pro enforcement cause for several reasons, most of the Presidential candidates (McCain, Clinton, Obama, etc...) abstained from the Cloture vote because they would have voted YES, along with the other sellouts and their chances of becoming President would go down the tubes just like McCain! Each day we get closer to the 2008 elections without Amnesty being passed, the chances of passage get lower. The Presidential campaigns, and Senate campaign announcements coming soon, are the window closer for the launch of this Amnesty push!

Also, the supporters of this bill wanted to rush the legislation for a good reason. If America had enough time to taste the poison in this glass, we might not drink the whole thing hook line and sinker.

We now have more time to analyze the bill, warn other Americans, and craft a new defensive effort for the next vote.

Keep in mind that this bill must pass another Cloture vote and if 10 Senators drop off the support list, it is dead in the Senate, which would be an UNEXPECTED and SIGNIFICANT win for our side. If we beat this down in the Senate instead of the house, that would reflect what we know is true and that the momentum is with our side of this issue.

Another very positive thing we have to share is that ALIPAC has grown by almost 20% in the last week as new volunteers and contributors have joined our ranks. This battle has been a new wakeup call for our fellow Americans and many more are rising to the challenge of restoring our Republic and reversing the flow of illegals into our country.

While ALIPAC set new MONTHLY web traffic records in March and April of this year, we are on track to set a new record for May. We established new daily web traffic records last Friday and again yesterday on May 21! On Monday, May 21, over 140,000 pages of our website were viewed in just one day!

This means that our team is fighting back harder than ever and America is hungry for information. ALIPAC is the largest archive of information in existence about America's illegal immigration crisis. Each page viewed of our website is another informed American, journalist, lawmaker, etc...

ALIPAC's President, William Gheen, has been on over 15 talk radio shows in the last few days taking your messages to the nation and the response has been dramatic! More shows are scheduled for today and tomorrow and bookings are coming in so fast that we are unable to alert you beforehand. Rest assured that the entire ALIPAC Team is doing all we can to provide you with the information and support you need, strategies for victory, and a voice to the nation.

We know that our cause is true and that a majority of Americans agree with our immigration enforcement platform.

The fact that those major candidates like Clinton, Obama and McCain abstained from the vote yesterday, when they have in the past been staunch supporters of amnesty; shows clearly that the Senate is fully aware the American population does NOT want amnesty. But they are trying to forge ahead against the wishes of those they represent.
