Graham Offers Solutions To Illegal Immigration Crisis His Amnesty Caused

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC issues the following response to Senator Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) press conference about his new immigration legislation, (View) pointing out that Senator Graham and President Trump are the root causes of America's current border crisis, not our current laws or foreign economies.

Senator Graham is announcing a tough sounding set of immigration law changes, to boost his 2020 campaign, while keeping the door open for immigration matters Democrats want, which translates into Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

Senator Graham repeatedly states that the number of unaccompanied minor illegal aliens (UACs) are increasing and that the government can't hold them for more than twenty days, but Graham refuses to admit that--

Graham voted for the secretive budget deal bill ( H.J.Res. 31) that President Trump signed on Feb. 15, 2019, which contains a new Amnesty law provision in section 224(a) which prevents Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from deporting UACs, deporting illegal minor sponsors, illegal minor housemates, and illegal minors' potential sponsors!

Graham is offering solutions to a border crisis he and President Donald Trump have created by passing a secret Amnesty in the budget deal bill and by Trump breaking at least ten major immigration promises! (View)

"Sen. Lindsey Graham acts like he just discovered the destructive Presidential Catch and Release policies that have been going on since early in the Bush administration around 2002! Graham wants to campaign tough against immigration for his reelection effort in 2020," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "The truth is that today's onslaught of illegal aliens at our border has been caused by Senator Graham's support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform and Dream Act Amnesty legislation in 2006, 2007, 2010, and as a Gang of Eight member in 2012. Senator Graham hopes Americans will forget his support for Amnesty as he offers solutions for a problem he played a major role in creating."
