Great News! Pro Amnesty Senator Resigning!
Friends of ALIPAC,
We have some great news to report.
Senator Mel Martinez (R-Fl) has announced his resignation and many of us at ALIPAC are launching a spontaneous celebration!
Hurray! Pro Amnesty Republican RESIGNS!
http://www.alipac.us/article-4437-thread-1-0.html
Please notice the last paragraph where it reads...
"Martinez has denied that he was forgoing a second term because of concerns about difficult re-election prospects in a state won by President Barack Obama. But he has struggled to boost public support because of his close ties to former President George W. Bush and his efforts pushing an immigration bill that was unpopular with many Republicans. "
Senator Martinez had a pathetic grade of D- at betterimmigration.com
http://grades.betterimmigration.com/tes ... VIPID=1156
He and John McCain were the main Republican pushers of Bush's AMNESTY bills that we helped defeat in 2006 and 2007.
Since Martinez supported that highly unpopular AMNESTY legislation, which the US Senate plans to bring back this month, his support levels in Florida have remained very low.
The chances are high that Martinez's consultants are telling him he is unelectable just like John McCain.
Martinez decided to vote for Sonia Sotomayor and run!
We are happy to announce the resignation of sellout Senator Mel Martinez!

Screw up move up
Sadly, this sad excuse for a fecal specimen will turn up somewhere else in politics. Take our fearless secretary of state for example? She showed up one day at a NY Yankee game, plopped a Yankee hat on her mop, bought a home in Chappaqua and declared she was a New Yorker! Criiiiiiiiiiiiiiipes, she pulled it off, she won the state senate seat. These carpet baggers, do just that, they pack up their bag of snake oil and move on to another place. It is OUR duty to expose them for who they are. This new moron coward, who just got away with a “hit and runâ€

Welcome, CO! I know our posters in Fla. will be keeping an eye on him, and I will be poking around as well. I haven't had the oomph lately to check who his big corporate campaign contributors were (probably US Sugar, whose owners-the Fanjoul family-are also Cuban).
Or maybe he just felt the urge to write a book.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
