I am doing my very best here in Washington to represent you and the vast majority of Americans that want this bill stopped and our existing immigration laws enforced. We are truly on a crusade to save America and restore our Republic.

PROCESS: CLOTURE VOTES TUESDAY FORWARD

The latest information we have received is that there will be another CLOTURE vote today after 11:30am EST to revive the bill. We are being told that there will have to be a CLOTURE Vote to revive it and then another CLOUTURE vote for the bill to go for a final vote, which would only require 50 Senators to pass. You can watch C-Span Online via our Discussion Groups area while you make your calls, send faxes, and e-mails asking Senators to VOTE NO ON CLOTURE FOR THE AMNESTY BILL.

SENATORS BURR AND DOLE

I got in the door and spoke with Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) for an hour yesterday. I was joined by Carmen Mercer of MCDC. We showed Senator Burr the numerous NC and US polls showing massive opposition to this bill, which are in the 70-80% ranges. We also pointed out that his phone lines were ringing off the hook, in the other room and that we had watched for almost 40 minutes noting that every single call that came in was about this immigration bill and opposed to the bill!

We asked Richard Burr to listen to the people and not big business. We pointed out to Richard Burr that too many people know about the CLOTURE vote and what it means and that too many people know that a majority of Americans oppose this, for the Amnesty pushers to be able to get away with this affront to the political processes and stability of the United States.

Burr has announced, to our dismay, that he plans to vote YES on the first CLOTURE vote claiming that he wants the process and work to take place. He claims that he will vote no against the measures, if all Senators do not get to offer amendments and unless the bill is heavily modified. He stated that he felt there was only a 10% chance he would support final passage.

Today, I am meeting with Senator Dole to thank her for her stance against this bill, and since she is up for reelection in 2008, I plan to point out something important.

Many of the GOP consultants and campaigns in NC are pointing out that if Burr votes Yes and that has anything to do with this bill and its passage, it will hurt the entire GOP ticket in NC in 2008.

I told Senator Burr that this bill contained many provisions designed to advance the SPP, North American Community, or NAU.

He claimed he did not know anything about those.

I told him we needed to fix that before he pushed another button!

I love how many of these senators are claiming ignorance. And they have the audacity to come out and accuse Americans of being ignorant about S. 1639.

Guess what senators, we know what is in the bill and that is why we want you to be informed about the NAU. It is not a tin foil hat right wing conspiracy, it is true!

How can they claim they don't know anything about that? If that is true, then they haven't read the entire contents of their latest crap bill either.

If Burr says he doesn't know about the SPP or NAU, he is a blatant liar. EVERY member of congress knows about them. I'm off to ebay!
