I read about this outrageous tragedy on World Net Daily. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the story was also published in The Tampa Tribune. I read so many papers and visit so many websites I can't always remember where I learned of something.

Have we heard, what have we heard?

The ALIPAC team asks us to let them know if we heard about the Minnesota tragedy where four were killed by an illegal alien driver. I heard about this on a news report on the Fox News Channel. While I did not spend much time on the other old establishment mainstream media outlets, at no time did I hear them make any report on this subject.
I also have read about this incident on a number of websites. Some are telling us her immigration status has nothing to do with the accident. Geraldo Rivera in a Fox News interview with Bill O'Reilly claimed her status meant nothing & to say so was to make this a racial issue.
Additional reports state that she also had a fake Social Security card & other fake documents. Apparently, while living in the shadows, she has made numerous outside contacts to obtain all necessary documents to work, live, eat, sleep, & if she wanted to apply, even obtain all sorts of welfare benefits. She failed to take the time or make the effort to obtain applications to be in America legally. (Apparently she could not find that office to obtain the application) That meant she cannot obtain a drivers license, or obtain insurance for when she was driving illegally. There are also reports she has been detained &/or arrested &/or cited for other traffic violations previously, with only fines resulting.
It seems improbable that once cited for any driving violation, law enforcement officials failed to determine her legal status. Apparently in Minnesota, officers either cannot or do not try to determine this, unless I presume a felony is involved.
Based on a slow response by ICE officials to local requests, many localities simply do not approach the issue or they let it go. Additionally, some communities do not have the available jail space to hold these folks so they also let them go.
Ignoring the legal status of this person cannot be considered reasonable. It is a major factor in the event. Her physical presence in America made this possible. Her lack of a drivers license is irrelevant. Since she also had made no attempt to obtain or seek legal status in America, it is patently obvious she had every intention of remaining here illegally so long as it suited her & she intended to drive illegally so long as it suited her.
We must make sure people understand that while entering or staying in America illegally is not a felony crime (I think its a misdemeanor), it inevitably leads to the commission of numerous additional serious crimes. And each of those crimes is as deliberate as the one where illegal aliens enter into or stay in America, illegally.
Crime 1) They need to get in, so they enter illegally or stay illegally.
Crime 2) They want to work so they obtain false, fake, forged, or stolen documents. The seriousness of each of those crimes is spelled out in the criminal codes of each state & at the federal level. But they become progressively more serious as the illegal alien attempts to "get more" from America while here.
Crime 3) They want to get to work, shopping, etc., so they obtain an automobile with false documents, or they buy one privately so there can be no trace. BUT, to drive, they do so illegally since they cannot legally apply for a license, unless some idiotic state allows them to do so!
Crime 4) They drive without benefit of insurance. While in some states it may not be the law to have insurance, in most it is the law. Without insurance, costs for an accident fall on the taxpayers since most illegal aliens do not have any financial assets to seize. Those who do could probably get legal help from La Raza or the ACLU to get out of those estates being held for the victims of their crimes.
Crimes 5 through ????????) To be determined by the illegal as they move about America freely using all of the resources taxpayers provide.
Unless & until we deflate the vicious rhetoric of illegal alien sympathizers who call any opposed to their presence here racists, bigots, fascists, and numerous other hateful names, we will always see the debate reduced to rhetoric rather than issues. (Fascists by the way are traditionally liberals. The Nazi's were the most famous. Their political party was the "National Socialists" party. They too were going to have the state run everything & take care of the people, so long as the people agreed their very lives belongs to the state of course!)
So long as these folks can deflect the talk away from the law, we will face an uphill battle. So long as they can call us racists, bigots & other names rather than debate facts, we will face an uphill battle.
We must start to challenge these tactics. We must start to tell illegal aliens they are victims of a system that is employing them at reduced labor rates & that will discard them once they have obtained all they want from them. They must understand that their presence tears down the labor wage & benefit concessions so many have worked for over the decades. And that is exactly what big corporations want. They want to pay only what they want. They want to force people to work under any conditions they want, safe or not. Illegal alien workers allow those corporations to offer these conditions & any who speak-out face immediate reprisals by that corporation in the form of deportation or other penalties.
They are being used & while we say do not come here, what we mean is do not come here illegally, because you permit labor laws & wage rates to be deflated by the greedy. They are becoming the new slave labor class. Worse is that even if there is an amnesty, MORE illegals will come & they will displace these now legal folks from jobs because they will be willing to work for even less & especially because the newly legalized will seek better wages & then be faced with the same problems legal workers face today. Its a vicious circle & only the greedy profit from it!
Immigration enforcement, border security & a double layered fence, employer prosecutions, legal document requirements, etc., are NOT racial issues. They are economic & legal issues. It is probable their own native country would not tolerate such violations, so why should Americans?
Work with us to demand a legal & fair immigration system & then they can reasonably ask us to support their efforts. Work against us & we will fight them at every turn!
Our national security, the safety of every American is the responsibility of our government & those issues trump any issues illegal aliens present to us, because without that safety & security, there is no America to come to, to live & work in!!!

    On Norm Coleman (R) MN

Norm Coleman's voting record on illegal immigration and amnesty, is very bad. He was infavor of the previous bills to allow amnesty....until the last one, in which he was overwhelmed with email, fax and telephone calls protesting and reminding him that he was up for re-election in the near future and his vote would be taken into consideration at the polls. He then voted against it. He's a typical polititian, and one we need to be rid of in Washington.
    Speaking from Minnesota...and I vote!

Coleman said, the burden is on the federal government.

He compared the illegal immigration issue to problems federal agencies had with terrorists before the Sept. 11 attacks — agencies are not sharing data on possible suspects with one another. He called it a "silo" mentality, in which agencies work strictly within their own "silos," and said that approach has to change.

Right now, it isn't easy to tell if an employee is using fake ID or if the same ID is being used in two different places in the country at the same time, he said.

"We don't talk to each other," he said of federal agencies. "The IRS doesn't talk to Homeland Security, or to Social Security.

"We need to improve our own system," he said of the federal government. "We still need to hold employers accountable (for hiring illegals), but we need to hold up our act, too.

"There are some things we could fix to certainly make the system better. It's a broken system right now."

I usually listen to my local news every night, but I've never even heard this story on tv. I only heard about this on Alipac, and I think that was BEFORE they determined that the criminal is an illegal alien.

I'll be emailing MN reps on and off throughout the day on this issue.
RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends

Here's a letter anyone can use, all or part, if you're looking for something to send to the legislators of Minnesota:

    Dear ----------------

You should now be painfully aware that illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. The most recent tragedy of four Cottonwood children killed (and the many injured) is a terrible reminder of the failure of our government to simply enforce existing immigration laws. You, as a state legislator, must take charge of your own constituent’s welfare and work to require ALL laws are followed and enforced. Obviously, American citizens cannot pick and choose which laws they will follow, but illegal aliens, with government and law enforcement complicity in Minnesota, can. Following the law, abiding by the law and supporting the law is “workâ€

I was not trying to scold anyone for watching Fox News.

I was just pointing out a very alarming fact about Rupert Murdoch's investors.

Same with Google, Very few people know their dealings with communist and their casual attitude to censor entire nations in the name of profits.

There is a big difference between working within the law and doing the morally correct thing.
