Doing well JP. You're letting people talk and finish their thoughts. You sound so calm like you've done this a lot.

I've been curious about the shipments from china being turned away. What do they do? Do they take it back to a china port? Or do they dump it off into the ocean along the way? This is assuming they don't take it to another US port.
Have you ever stopped to think, and forget to start again?

    Homemade Baby Formula

If prepared properly, this still ranks third. Breastfeeding ranks first and commercial formulas second. Under certain circumstances, it may be alright to use homemade formula, but consult your baby's pediatrician before introducing this to your infant.

2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
    32 ounces water
    2 tablespoons Karo syrup
    3ml Poly Vi Sol Vitamins

    Mix thoroughly.

    This recipe came from:

    www.recipegoldmine.com

I heard about this from a friend and although I haven't had time to browse through, I'm told they have homemade baby products.

Another good source, I'm told, is this site:

As a former New Hampshirite, I gave my son certified raw milk as a baby, which I got from a dairy farm about 20 miles away. Of course, that was 35 years ago, but he turned into a strapping young man.
This laxity of controls and inspections on imported food makes me nuts. Tariffs don't work, even when they are superceded by treaties. Vietnam began sending their farm-raised catfish to this country, undercutting American fishermen and catfish farmers. While the US did win the suit at the WTO, so the Vietnamese merely renamed the product "basa" to get around the tariffs. Any package of frozen basa in the grocery will be the product of Viet Nam. Darden Restaurants, owners of Olive Garden, are one of the top users of imported farm-raised shrimp.
The Chinese are the worst offenders with their farm raiised seafood products: a shipment was caught of crayfish into Louisiana with choraphemicol, a substance banned from foodstuff in the US.
With apologies for the tirade, I am ticked!
