This is a list of Representatives from the House, which is where we are focusing. Ted Cruz is a Senator as I'm sure you know. Since amnesty has already passed the Senate, there's no reason to waste time on Cruz right now.

I called all four CA reps (Denham, Issa, Nunes, and Valadao) and one in IL (Schock). In all cases their screeners were guarded at first, but admitted the reps were leaning left on amnesty/immigration. When I said I was vehemently opposed to amnesty and any other form of reward for illegals they all seemed to agree with me, and willingly listened (I gave them an ear full on how increased legal and illegal immigration is decimating our country) and said they would pass my opinion on to the Rep. One point I made is that they'll lose more core Republican voters than they'll ever gain in immigrants votes.

I called several offices. Of those where I could speak to a staffer, only Chaffetz's office issued an outright denial of support for amnesty. Carter's staffer refused to comment, which of course tells you something. Coffman's staffer mouthed the usual "comprehensive immigration reform" blather which means he's FOR an amnesty.

Boehner's office said he was supporting the pathway to citizenship, in otherwords AMNESTY. When queried about the fact that they, ILLEGALS have no plans on becoming citizens and that they wouldn't be voting republican anyways they said it wasn't about the votes, they then continued with the tried and true John McCain lie of crap that it was too expensive to deport them. Unfortunately for them I replied with a few little facts, such as HOW COULD IT BE MORE EXPENSIVE, Here in the state of Texas WE PAY YEARLY 1.2 BILLION DOLLARS TO EDUCATE ILLEGALS, 100 MILLION DOLLARS for emergency room visits alone, 800 MILLION DOLLARS for social services to ILLEGALS, to which the dumb as- replied what they didn't know that, and I can guarantee you that California's bill is twice that.
