Merry Christmas and thanks from ALIPAC + Our holiday Schedul

Everyone here at Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please take note that we will operate on a reduced schedule during the holidays.

We are going into "Holiday Mode" here at ALIPAC because we know that our citizen activists have worked very hard in 2005 and need rest, relaxation, and some quality time with their families. The last few weeks have been very pressing as we have fought to keep the Guest Worker amnesty legislation out of the immigration enforcement bill that passed the House last week and we have worked to do the job of the NC AP Wire by getting the news to the public despite their blockade.

Our homepage news updates will resume on Jan 3. We encourage our long-time supporters and new visitors to explore our Stories Archives and Discussion Groups (found on the left of the screen) during the break.

New visitors should also consider signing up for our e-mail alerts or chipping in as contributors because 2006 will be a historic year for America and we will need all of the help we can get to stop illegal immigration.

If you are one of our supporters that has an outstanding pledge of support, please take a few minutes to send in your donation before the end of the year. We would like to clear most of our pledges that have not come in yet before 2006.

The ALIPAC phone messages and e-mail will be checked and answered on a daily basis during the break. We will also be ready to inform you if any big stories break regarding America's illegal immigration crisis. We are slowing things down, but we are still operational.

So many of our efforts have met with a high degree of success this year and we owe it all to our supporters. Those that have given their time as volunteers and funds to support this struggle deserve a great deal of thanks.

We have shown the nation that Americans of all racial backgrounds can stand together and take civic action that has quite an impact. Furthermore, we have become an influential national organization with hundreds of donors in 45 states working with thousands of citizen volunteers that reflect the 80+% of Americans that want our borders secured and our existing immigration laws enforced.

While we rest for the holidays, the ALIPAC website continues to do its job while our web traffic reaches new record levels for December. People across America are realizing they must come to the Internet and talk radio to find out what is really going on with the illegal immigration issue due to bias and censorship in the print media and major news networks such as NBC and CBS.

By or around New Year's Day, 10 million pages of our site will have been viewed. This is amazing progress considering we were founded as a national organization on Sept. 11, 2004. Each page of the website that is viewed has the potential to bring us another contributor and citizen volunteer. Each page viewed can raise the awareness of an American voter on this issue. Journalists, law enforcement officers, elected officials, and concerned citizens are finding our site and are learning from the news and resource information stored here.

We have accomplished many things, but the biggest challenges are ahead in the elections of 2006. We want everyone to be rested and ready to roll in January.

Please enjoy your holiday and please know how thankful we are to be working with you on this issue.

    Merry Christmas,

I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas. I do hope YOU will take a couple days off. Won't happen will it??? LOL!

It's been a most interesting year and we have proven that truth and the American way will win!
