PAC Activists Pressure States to Join Lawsuit Against Unconstitutional DACA Amnesty
For National Release | May 3, 2018
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) activists are calling state Attorney General offices across America today to request they support and join the new lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to force the Trump administration to end the illegal and unconstitutional Amnesty program called DACA.
ALIPAC activists will ask the Attorney Generals of all 50 states to join the lawsuit. During Obama's term, ALIPAC activists helped encourage 26 states to join the lawsuit to stop DACA. Paxton's new lawsuit currently has six states on board at launch.
Texas dropped their lawsuit when Trump became President because candidate Trump promised to end Obama's unconstitutional orders like DACA on his first day in office. Instead, much to the dismay of Trump's voters, Trump has continued DACA Amnesty and pressured Congress to pass Amnesty legislation for millions of illegals, thus making DACA permanent through law! Trump's support for DACA Amnesty for illegal immigrants cost him ALIPAC's endorsement when it became clear he broke his top campaign promise.
This reversal by Trump on immigration issues and his push for Congress to pass Amnesty has created a new surge of illegal border crossings and larger illegal alien caravans coming to exploit the weak Executive Branch interpretations and implementations of American border and immigration laws.
"DACA is as illegal and unconstitutional today as it was the day Obama created Amnesty out of thin air after Congress and the American public rejected Amnesty numerous times," declared William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "The problem is not in Congress; the problem is that the Executive Branch of the US Government has gone rogue from the Constitution and existing laws. Americans don't want Congress to pass DACA into law; we want DACA Amnesty ended, and our current laws enforced instead. Each minute DACA continues to exist, the people of the United States are deprived of Constitutional governance and a functioning Republic. DACA makes a mockery of our nation's laws, Congress, and elections which have determined illegal immigrants are to return home instead of being given Amnesty by despotic bureaucrats and presidents."
ALIPAC activists are calling to thank the Attorneys General of the seven states supporting the lawsuit to stop DACA which are Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, South Carolina and West Virginia. The AGs of the 43 other states will receive calls, letters, emails, and faxes asking them to join the lawsuit to stop DACA!
ALIPAC activists will also be calling the White House to demand President Trump honor his Oath of Office, the US Constitution, and his campaign promises by settling this lawsuit immediately by ending DACA and all special protections and classes of illegal immigrants.
The Texas lawsuit is now headed before Judge Hanen who ruled DACA was unConstitutional in 2015.
