Encouraged by President Trump's new orders for DHS to repel the large caravans of illegal immigrants attempting to game America's asylum laws at the border, ALIPAC is calling on Trump to honor his campaign promise to completely end his dangerous catch and release program, which makes a mockery of America's borders, laws, elections, and sovereignty.
"Rebuilding his enforcement credibility will be harder for President Trump now that the initial decrease in illegal crossings has vanished and turned into a new huge border surge following his push for Amnesty for millions of illegals in Congress instead of the 'enforcement only' policies he promised during his campaign," declared William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We've documented illegal border crossings increasing each time Presidents Bush and Obama focused on Amnesty legislation in DC, and the same is happening today due to Trump and Congressional Republicans focusing on Amnesty instead of enforcement. We want President Trump to order all illegal immigrants either repelled at the border, quickly returned to Mexico at the most secure point on our border that will make reentry the most difficult for them, or held in tent detention facilities at the border until they can be returned to their home nations. We also feel that retired Sheriff Joe Arpaio should be appointed to head up the border detention construction efforts to send a clear message to the world that America's borders are no longer open to illegals."
ALIPAC accurately predicted and warned in 2017 that the historic decrease in illegal crossings following Trump's inauguration would be short-lived if campaign promises to crack down at the border, build a wall, and engage in large-scale deportations of illegals were not honored.
Since Trump's inauguration, ALIPAC has called upon President Trump to both pardon and then appoint Sheriff Arpaio to help secure America's border and build tent detention facilities modeled after Arpaio's efforts in Maricopa County, Arizona, to send a clear message of deterrence to potential illegal immigrants.
ALIPAC activists were considering a border protest against the caravans to increase pressure on the White House to take strong action and prevent the caravans from showing the entire world that America will not defend her borders.
ALIPAC is seeking more information about the work permits being given to illegal immigrants who make asylum claims as this shocking practice has recently appeared in several news reports.
