Red Alert! Activating ALIPAC's Emergency systems

    Friends of ALIPAC,

Please read and respond to this entire email very carefully.

We are activating ALIPAC's emergency email backup system today to assure that this message reaches all of our supporters. (Please contact us, if you DO NOT RECEIVE 2 copies of this email.)

We are ready to fight back against Obama and we are ready to make him and all of his open border allies pay for siding with illegal aliens against Americans in the Arizona court case. ALIPAC is entering a state of emergency operations to address acute challenges.

All ALIPAC activists who are online and in Arizona are asked to help us monitor the tense situation in Phoenix, where illegal alien supporters are threatening to storm Sheriff Joe Arpaio's jail house. If you pick up information about this, please post at this tracking link. ALIPAC will quickly inform our supporters by email, of any significant civil unrest that could pose a threat in the Phoenix area.

    Action Item 3
A wave of anger and anguish is sweeping America. People now realize that President Obama has just helped illegal aliens win over Americans who are trying to defend their homes, jobs, communities, and lives.

We need you to reach out to others in person, online, and on talk radio shows to channel that backlash into ALIPAC and the elections.

Obama has won a battle that will cost him dearly in the war. We are 96 days away from midterm elections and the number of politicians who will lose their jobs in November has just risen due to the actions taken by Obama and this Clinton appointed Judge Susan Bolton. We all must organize to assure the backlash is structured.

Help us channel the wave of anger into a political revolution in the 2010 elections! Let's throw out all these pro-Amnesty politicians on both the state and federal levels!

    MASS MEDIA

ALIPAC was fighting against Amnesty supporters on MSNBC today at 12 noon Eastern time. We were on FOX yesterday. We will upload the MSNBC coverage soon.

A Fox News article about our 'Safe Departure' recommendation was the top story on the Drudge Report for most of the day yesterday. Drudge is one of the most well read news websites in the world.

Special thanks to all of you who have helped ALIPAC spread versions of Arizona's SB 1070 to 20 other states that are now considering the proposal. ALIPAC's map showing your work was used on CBS news with Katie Couric last light. Our goal of showing the nation Arizona does not stand alone has been accomplished and the state map they displayed sourced "Americans for Legal Immigration PAC"

ALIPAC comments opposing Obama and McCain's Amnesty plans, opposing Judge Bolton's ruling against Arizona, supporting Arizona, and encouraging illegal aliens to leave America on their own have been reported widely in the last 48 hours.

ALIPAC's recent efforts can be seen in AOL News, the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Washington Post, World Net Daily, and many other publications. We are collecting these reports on the homepage at www.ALIPAC.us for you to review.

ALIPAC has also conducted interviews on more than 15 talk radio shows across America in the last 48 hours!

We are representing you and showing that while we win some battles and lose others we are fighting hard and being successful with our efforts to reach out to America on your behalf.

New supporters are streaming in due to our high level of media exposure.

ALIPAC's mass media message has helped in several ways. More people know illegals are and will continue to self-deport. More people know that Obama is a traitor. More people know that Americans like us are organized and fighting back. More people know that Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty is not necessary to deal with illegal immigration.

Volunteer assembled letters are arriving in many of your mailboxes to help us do what we must do to win in 96 days! ALIPAC volunteers plan to assemble to create a phone bank to help us support our candidates starting next week!

We are on the move, please respond to these emergency alerts and take action to help save America NOW!

Arizona immigration law protesters arrested after blocking street
236 commentsby Ginger Rough and Michael Ferraresi - Jul. 29, 2010 11:40 AM
    The Republic | azcentral.com

More than a hundred protestors blocked Washington Street near Phoenix City Hall Thursday in a mass act of civil disobedience and anger over the enactment of Arizona's tough new immigration law.

At least 14 were arrested and are confirmed in custody; more arrests are possible, as other groups of individuals are lying down in the street or standing with their arms linked in the roadway. Police in riot gear began moving in against the protestors just after 10 a.m.

The protestors were chanting "Hey Ho, Hey Ho, SB 1070 has got to go," as they blocked the street, snarling traffic in the downtown area, and delaying at least one light-rail train, which had to be rerouted.

It is the latest example of a growing number of protests against Arizona's controversial new immigration law.

Even though a federal judge on Wednesday blocked key provisions of the state legislation, known as Senate Bill 1070, rallies protests, prayer vigils and acts of civil disobedience are scheduled throughout this morning and later today.

The provisions of the law that were not blocked took effect at 12:01 a.m.; Gov. Jan Brewer's legal team is expected to file an expedited appeal of the judge's order with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals sometime this afternoon.

Earlier this morning, three people, including former state legislator and activist Alfredo Gutierrez were arrested outside the federal courthouse in downtown Phoenix.

The other individuals who were taken into custody identified themselves as Dan O'Neal and Doris Perez.

It was not immediately clear what charges they might face.

"The injunction did not go far enough," O'Neal moments before getting arrested. "This movement is about more than 1070."

The epicenter of this morning's protests have been in the area immediately surrounding Sheriff Joe Arpaio's offices at the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Phoenix.

Several different groups appeared to join together in that general area around 9:30 this morning, with activists milling around in nearby Cesar Chavez Plaza and in front of Phoenix City Hall.

For most of the morning, the mood was calm, with occasional outbursts of chant and song.

But it was clear that law enforcement was prepared for any problems that might develop.

Phoenix police officers were posted at every street corner, and their squad cars and motorcycles lines the streets for blocks.

Eventually, protestors moved into the street, blocking Washington. That's when the arrests began. Police on site were protesters ample opportunities to consider leaving, to get their bags and belongings together before arresting them.

A group of legal observers from the National Lawyers Guild was also at that location, helping protestors fill out paperwork with familial contact information, name and date of birth in case they got arrested.

"We want to make sure they don't get lost in the system," said Thomas Cincotta, of Boston, who said he was a researcher at Political Research Associates.

Other activists are now marching to the 4th Avenue Jail, where about 100 people had gathered by 11 a.m.

Many are blocking the jail entrance at 3rd Avenue and Madison, chanting, "No Justice, no peace, no racist police."

"We're not trying to get arrested, we are trying to make a point," said Ruben Lucio, 21, of Phoenix. Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Phoenix, was also at the jail demonstrating.

She said she came to the jail because "I am standing for human rights. Not one more person, not one more mother, not one more grandfather will be taken from their family."

At the jail, the Sheriff has cancelled public visitation and put all inmates on a 24 hour lockdown, beginning at 9 a.m. today.

"These irresponsible individuals (who) plan to create so much congestion around the jail that we cannot accept prisoners will end up prisoners themselves," said Arpaio, who has beefed up security measures for himself and his staff.

This morning's protests and marches began with a prayer vigil and march from the Arizona State Capitol to the Trinity Cathedral in downtown Phoenix.

The number of protestors is only expected to growth throughout the day, as they are bolstered by supporters from other states.

Gustavo Ramirez, director of the activist group Phoenix Rising, said Thursday that 13 buses filled with protestors left Los Angeles this morning en route to Phoenix. They will be joining with demonstrators this afternoon, he said.

At least one positive event is scheduled for Thursday. About 50 people will become citizens in a program organized by the Phoenix Public Library Teen Council and conducted by the U.S.

Citizenship and Immigration Services. The new U.S. citizens range in age from 20 to 73 and come from 24 countries.

Staff writers Jim Walsh, Brittany Williams, Derek Quizon and Kevin Kiley contributed to this report.

Arrests made in Phoenix - LIVE VIDEO

Arrests made as protests go on as planned after judge's ruling

    By ABC15 Phoenix

LIVE VIDEO LINK AND BREAKING NEWS FOUND HERE: http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/state/sb1 ... 27s-ruling

PHOENIX - Officers have made over 50 arrests at rallies in downtown Phoenix to protest Arizona's new immigration law. The law went into effect at midnight Thursday.

Hundreds of people demonstrated in the streets against the law, despite a federal judge's last-minute decision to block the most controversial parts of the measure.

Two dozen people were arrested as a group rallied in front of the federal courthouse in Phoenix, and later near the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

Also, protesters rallied at the 4th Avenue Jail a few blocks away. There was a report that the jail was on lockdown. Sheriff's officials said more than 30 people have been arrested.

Air15 video showed protesters blocking the entrance to the sallyport where people are brought in for booking. Several carried signs while others carried flags.

Sheriff's deputies were seen dragging several protesters sitting at the entrance into the garage.

Deputies appeared to be urging other protesters and media to move away from the sallyport entrance. More deputies in riot gear formed a semi-circle around the garage entrance, but the crowd moved forward, appearing to force the deputies back into the garage.

After a couple of hours, deputies were able to get the thinning crowd to move back from the garage entrance, but not before taking one more person into custody and freeing another man who had handcuffed himself to a door.

Dozens of deputies were seen walking in and lining Madison Street allowing the street to be re-opened. Sheriff Joe Arpaio said at a noon news conference he would delay his Thursday crime sweep to allow deputies to handle crowd control at the jail at the request of the Phoenix Police Department.

By 1 p.m., most of the protesters at the jail had dispersed.

Demonstrators first marched from the state Capitol at dawn on Thursday, then held a prayer service at a local church before heading to the courthouse where Judge Susan Bolton issued her ruling on Wednesday.

Chanting "Sheriff Joe, we are here, we will not live in fear," marchers then headed to the office of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has made a crackdown on illegal immigration one of his signature issues. Arpaio plans to send hundreds of officers into a neighborhood later Thursday.

Among the crowd was a drummer wearing a papier-mache Sheriff Joe head and dressed in prison garb.

Arpaio told ABC15 that Phoenix police officers are handling the situation as he focuses on a crime suppression planned for today. He also said through his Twitter account, "Just got a report that protesters are now trying to block my downtown jail sallyport and are chaining themselves to the jail." He also said, “I am prepared to arrest if protesters obstruct our operations.â€

Just in after 8 hours on the road......

Saw the ruling this morning on Fox, was anxious to see if they had problems down there, really half expected to hear the illegals liberal handlers got themselves into trouble over this, did expect things might escalate. Will do what I can W, but might be a little later.

    6:00 PM Phoenix, Az.
Pro Immigration activists staged demonstration around town and appeared peacful, however 24+ arrests were made at the jail house as activists tried to block the sallyport entrance to the jail.

Over a dozen buses from California carrying additional activists arrived in Phoenix with the intent of joining the vigil and vowing to remain until SB1070 is permanetly blocked as well as granting ammnesty to all illegal workers and providing them a clear path to citizenship.

Sheriff Joe had previously scheduled a large crime sweep for noon today, but delayed it for several hours as his deputies were used to secure the jail house first. The sweep did commence and is ongoing now.

Chandler Police last night were involved in an undercover drug operation which resulted in a shootout which left 1 officer dead and 2 wounded, no details if suspects were caught or not.

Sheriff Joe recieved a death threat from a MEXICO DRUG CARTEL WHICH OFFERED 1 MILLION DOLLARS TO KILL HIM AND ALSO OFFERED $1,000.00 TO PEOPLE TO JOIN THE CARTEL!

Every thing seems peacful enough now but it seems likely to me that if the Pro Immigration activists dont stop these vigils soon and stop their in your face Mexican National diatribe to the press. all hell will breakout.
