If you do NOT mind paying higher taxes to have illegal aliens replace American students in the limited seats in our colleges, then please disregard this message.

If you do mind paying for illegals to replace your own kids and grand kids in college, then we need you to take action immediately.

In 2008, we defeated the illegal aliens and their supporters in almost every state! In 2009, they are back with a vengeance, well organized, well financed, and ready to rumble.

We must stop their aggressive moves and sustain the pro-enforcement momentum. Their main push is for in-state tuition for illegal aliens in several states.

Our state FOCUS Campaigns are ready for you. Even if your state is not listed, we need you in action in the states where battles are raging.

Please follow this link and click on any state that is active for 2009. There will be a link to this area on our homepage for your convenience.

Each state FOCUS campaign contains simple instructions, sample messages, contact info, and info about the legislation in each state.

Our ALIPAC Activists have worked hard to arrange these campaigns for you.

We need AS MANY OF YOU CALLING, EMAILING, FAXING, and Sending letters into EACH OF THESE STATES AND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!

Also, we need groups, leaders, and activists like you to step forward to provide more organization on the ground in these states ASAP.

We must remind you all of the important lesson we have learned. In state's where a person or group takes the lead opposing the pro-illegal alien legislation, we usually stop them. In state's where we do not have enough leadership on the ground, the illegal aliens and their supporters win.

Please take this message and call to action to heart, otherwise we may soon have to report that the illegal aliens and their supporters have turned our tide in the states!

I abhor the thought of any foreign national getting a seat in our colleges and universities when it means an American won't get to go to college. How our country has degenerated into an educating nation for the world instead of a country that educates its own is just unbelievable.

The jerk heading up the DOT has decided to go back on the new law of showing your birth certificate when applying for a licence or a renewal. It was only enacted last December and within 2-months this idiot wanted it changed. I guess the illegals couldn't come up with a birth certificate!

I wrote to him a week ago, it wasn't nice .... I wrote to him again the next morning saying that ow that I was over the "shock & awe" of his decision that here are my thoughts.

Now that I'm out of shock over the article about you and what you are going to do, I thought I write again in a less frustrated tone.

I want you to know that it feels as though our government has turned against it's people both here in Maine and Federally.

We are suppose to be a nation of laws and we are lawless? We have a Constitution that explains things like immigration and citizenship. It might as well be toilet paper.

I'm stunned that Maine leaders and our Congress and Senate seem to be bought by lobbyist or something. Something is up something is fishy, it's not all about money because there is so much waste it can't be money. Medicare is 1/3 fraud, that might be a good place to start saving. I get 2 Medicare mailings with MY address and 2 Korean peoples names! I'm not Man Yoon or Kyoung Yoon and I'm not suppose to be worried?

Illegal immigrants use stolen identities yet they get the pampering and we get nothing but grief and a lawyer bill.

I know your area is Transportation but your statements in the paper lead into illegal immigration. Last year we had 5000 illegal immigrants, now ICE says we have 7500 ......

70 people in Texas were kidnapped and killed, ransoms don't work out well there. 6000 people killed on our borders last year. Last week I learned of Lion pits just over our border that gang member throw people into. It controls the others. I'm scared and now I know our country is not going to protect it's citizens. It's the ruling and the ruled now.

Look at California what a mess! They are sinking from illegals. The over crowded schools and hospital closings, full prisons and jails and gangs running the show. Free medical, driving with no license or insurance. No problem! What must our homeless think when people illegally here get help like that, or a soldier that's country has turned their back on him.

This week Senator Romer will introduce SB09-170, a bill he is calling "Nondiscrimination in Higher Ed Funding". It...

"Requires that a person, regardless of immigration status...shall be charged the same tuition rate and shall be eligible for tuition assistance under the same criteria as a person who establishes domicile in Colorado." In other words...

In-state tuition for illegal aliens!

The bill may be amended to require application for Citizenship and to deny use of college opportunity funding. But do you want your taxpayer dollars to pay for in-state tuition for illegal aliens?

Please send a quick email to the Education Committee Members to let them know that you firmly oppose in-state tuition for illegal aliens, and also make a quick call to their office on this important issue. You can leave a brief message with the receptionist. Personal emails and calls do have an impact at the local level.

A committee hearing is set for Thursday, March 5th in Senate Committee Room 354. You can show up and testify for a few minutes at the hearing. Contact us to coordinate.

Parenthood does not exempt any person from complying with our nation's laws, including our immigration laws, and it is unfortunate that parents are putting their children in this difficult situation by breaking the law. The choice to willfully violate our national laws may have long-term unfavorable consequences on both the parent and their children. In addition, with negative supplementals to existing State budgets, and drastic cuts coming to future budgets, where will the money come from to offset the in-state/foreign student cost?

How will illegal aliens be able to use their taxpayer-subsidized education to assist our state's productivity when they can't even legally work here?

AZ Congressman Jeff Flake has been on TV quite frequently in the past couple of weeks. He is a big crusader for reducing spending and watching for unnecessary earmarks. Yet Flake is a big supporter of the DREAM ACT. I don't understand this. Luckily, in the state of Arizona, the voters passed an initiative against college funding for illegals. How can he be so right on spending limits, yet so wrong on the illegals? Anyone know how Flake personally benefits by supporting the illegals?
