The Candidates We Are Looking For To Challenge Obama's Amnesty Republicans

We are already starting to hear back from American citizens who are loyal to the US Constitution and willing to answer our call and consider challenging the GOP lawmakers who are now on record voting to support Obama's amnesty for illegals.

Each of these lawmakers can be politically destroyed and thrown out of office just like Eric Cantor if A. The right people run against them, and B. The challenger candidates do and say the right things.

To help this process and national talent hunt along, here are some criteria we want for GOP primary challengers to run against those on the "The Cantor List" in the 2016 primaries.

    1. Seed Money: Candidates need to be able to raise or self finance their campaign's start up with a minimum of $10,000. Too many times, someone gets on the ballot just to put a name up but they do not raise or spend the funds necessary to defeat a GOP amnesty supporter like Eric Cantor. In the Brat Vs. Cantor, race we made history with a candidate winning despite being outspent 40 to 1! The rule of thumb is that the candidate that spends the most wins 94% of the time. But running against an Eric Cantor type amnesty supporter you can win with less money. You just can't win with no money.

Any candidate willing to step forward to challenge these sellout Republicans needs at least $10,000 to start their campaign, buy initial campaign materials, and hire a campaign manager.

    2. Fundraising: Each candidate running as a challenger in the GOP primaries of 2016 must fund raise. We do not want or need any ballot riders just putting their name on a ballot hoping that becoming a member of Congress falls magically in their lap. Successful candidates must fund raise and will need to raise and wisely spend a minimum of $200,000 to defeat Eric Cantor level incumbents. The good news is that if you are willing to make fund raising calls for at least an hour five days a week and to attend and organize pig pickings or cookout fund raisers, you can raise this money. The unwillingness of candidates to to engage in the kind of fund raising practices all successful campaigns must focus on is the main reason candidates lose. Our candidates must be willing to learn how to raise funds and do what is necessary.

    3. Campaign Manager: Managing your own campaign, unless you are a campaign professional, is one of the top ways to lose a race before you have even begun. Dave Brat's campaign manager Zachary Werrell was the engine behind the candidate that made defeating Cantor possible. While you can hire a friend or get a volunteer campaign manager, and while an experienced campaign manager is preferable, the most important thing is that you have a person who manages your campaign that is not you. Then that person needs to be able to learn fast and to work with us to repeat the success of Dave Brat and Zach Werrell's campaign against Eric Cantor in 2014!

    4. Must be mobile and willing to lead volunteers: We need candidates who are going to launch fierce grass roots campaigns that involve walking many neighborhoods and keeping volunteer phone banks manned and rolling early. So our candidates need to be able to be on their feet for long hours and willing to ask and motivate people to aid the cause. The bottom line is if we knock on enough doors and ring enough phone lines with the message, "Congressman (McHenry, McCaul, Ellmers, Poe, etc...) supported Obama's amnesty for illegal aliens when he/she voted for... elect me and I will stand up for America's existing border and immigration laws instead of Obama's amnesty!"

If you or someone you know meets these criteria and you live in one of the 75 districts currently on The Cantor List (click here), then please write to WilliamG@alipac.us to begin the conversation about an effort to bring these illegal alien amnesty supporting Republicans home from DC!

Raise seed money, rely on a manager, walk the neighborhoods. How incredibly old fashioned;-)
