    9/11 and ALIPAC

    Supporters of ALIPAC:

Our thanks go to each of you that helped to make our August - 9/11 Fund Raiser a success. We now have enough funds to support our operations through the November elections. We will be ending our online fund raiser, but the effort to gather contributions will continue in other ways as we must raise more funds to help the candidates that are standing with the public on the illegal immigration issue.

This past Monday, 9/11, was ALIPAC's two year anniversary. Your support has helped us to survive and prosper as an organization. While we cannot do everything we would like to, we are clearly having a strong impact on the debate and the elections.

One of the main inspirations for ALIPAC was my experiences with my friend Peter Gadiel of the organization called 9/11 Families for a Secure America (9/11 FSA). Peter's son James was killed in the WTC collapse on 9/11. Working with Peter opened my eyes to many things. My admiration of his quest to prevent more American families from having to go through what his family has gone through placed me on this path. The leaders of 9/11 FSA (Peter Gadiel, Bruce DeCell, Joan Molinaro) have focused their lives on border security and the enforcement of America's immigration laws because they know that the 9/11 attackers exploited our immigration laws.

This brings us to one of the fundamental questions of the immigration enforcement movement. It is a question that keeps many of us awake at night. It is a rhetorical question that we would all love to see President George Bush try to answer from a podium.

"How can you reconcile the war on terror, troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, Americans going through strip searches in airports with the fact that your administration will allow another 6-10,000 illegal aliens to cross our borders tonight?"

It just does not add up no matter how you try to reconcile this policy.

Our opposition will always try to point out that the 9/11 attackers abused the Visa system and did not cross the borders as if this statement should make us feel more secure.

Our response is "What do you have to say to the thousands of Americans killed and injured by illegal aliens committing criminal acts in our nation?"

Today in America hundreds of lives will be shattered as families are asked to cope with death, injury, and loss caused by illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. Most crimes committed by illegal aliens are preventable crimes. Most would not happen at all if we secured our borders and enforced our existing immigration laws.

For those that will receive the call today from the authorities and learn that their precious American mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters have been killed, injured, raped, robbed by pillaging illegal aliens, we are here to fight for you.

We receive many calls, e-mails, and letters at ALIPAC from family members that had no knowledge of how out of control illegal immigration was in America until something terrible happened to them or their loved ones. Some calls are distraught lovers who were taken advantage of in fraudulent marriages. Others awoke one day to find their identities stolen and their finances in tatters. Then there are those whose families have been stricken with diseases such as tuberculosis brought into their communities by illegal aliens that bypassed the medical screening required for legal immigrants.

There are the messages from the families that suffered the ultimate loss because their loved ones were murdered by illegal aliens.

We do not hear from many of the victims of rapes and gang rapes and we can only image their suffering and pray for their recovery.

The federal government failed us in many ways on 9/11 and has demanded more money and more power over us as citizens to "protect us" from future attacks. Some of our supporters question the practice of rewarding failure with more power and money. They consider this to be an incentive to fail.

To allow millions of illegal aliens to come and stay in America causing damages on a biblical scale to our citizens and nation will not be tolerated.

One day in the future, when the American public has restored this Republic from the grass roots up, there needs to be a new memorial and a new day of reflection. It could be on 9/11 or another date.

We need a day of prayer and commemoration set aside for the massive numbers of shattered American lives that are casualties of our government's failure to honor the tenants of the U.S. Constitution, the existing laws, and the will of the majority of America's citizens.

Each day, I remember the fallen when I awake and I carry their loss with me as I work late into the night or toss and turn on my pillow hoping sleep will find me soon.

Each day, I wonder how long it will be before I get the dreaded call so many of my fellow countrymen and women have received.

Each day, we should all take our nation back into the hands of the people... One broken piece at a time.

Each day, We do what we can.

    Well said, W.

Thank you for the insight of why you've put your personal life on the line for this cause.

I think it's why so many of us are doing the same.

Americans are waking up. We just need more people to become active.

Thanks for all you do. Pat

Sorry if I'm late to the game here, I just now noticed your thread here...

Very nice and makes a lot of the really important points - points that rarely get the attention they deserve.

Just a couple other side things/FYIs....

Our opposition will always try to point out that the 9/11 attackers abused the Visa system and did not cross the borders as if this statement should make us feel more secure.
Even Visa holders cross our borders, they just do it with some qualified permission(s) in advance <g>.

Regarding the numbers... you could also quote numbers like this:

25 deaths attributed to illegals per day x 365.25 days in year =

    9131 US deaths per year.

    Years since 9/11 (/01) = 4. Total number of deaths attributed to illegal aliens since 9/11 (9131 x 4) = 36525 approx.

Yes, 9/11 was tragic and horrible.
But why aren't people cognizant of the 36k deaths (fully 10 times 9/11) caused by illegals in the US since...?
